Head replacement

Post by lolipop »

Because of the known problems with silicone dolls i want to order a Candy Girl soft vinyl doll without head ( 148.000Yen ) and complete her with a RD head ( 500 USD ). Does anyone here has experience how to do the replacement of the head ? The total cost will be about 1.800 USD plus shipping, fee, tax. A less expensive non silicone Realdoll many of us are waiting for. Abyss do you read ? The Japanese seem to have no probs with their molds.

I'd suggest PMing Britti_Lover or achilles, they may knw. I would guess it would not be a hard job to accomplish the only sticker may be differences in the diameter RD head onto the body & how U would mount it. Poet

I have done this and it works great!

I installed a silicone head on a latex doll.

Some points:

1) Abyss only sells faces - you will need to fabricate the head from a standard stroform head sold to hold up wigs.

2) You need to attach the head to the face with velcro.

3) You will also need to fabricate a method of attaching the head to the body.

I did this fabrication for Traci - my stuffed Latex doll from common Items sold in Walmart.

So - this is not an impossible job - but one that will require some skill.
