Hey all! Well Samantha seems to be in good shape for the most part. Fixed her mouth tears last night. But she still has an anal tear that isn't toward her vagina, (it doesn't start at her anal opening, about an inch or so away from it and its more surface tear. Also she has an arm pit tear (again not in the bending part of the pit itself about an inch away, looks a bit like a compression tear but again its minor). Both aren't bad BUT I've read how these things left unfixed lead to more trouble so I will fix them ASAP.
Now for my main reason for this post. Her wrists are locked. I've been told by a few people its most likely rust since her palms are slightly blackish. I'm not going to fix this right away but I would like to see if I could eventually. She is a early 2003 doll so I'm wondering if this is the correct pic for the wrist joint: http://www.dollforum.com/modules.php?na ... 850&pos=10
Also I've seen a pic from here: http://www.siliconedollworks.com/wrist_repair.html
In the pic it looks like there is a covering or something over the joint. Is there? Also for this job would it be best to go at top or cut at the seam which I understand is the best but is it for this job?
I just wanted to get some info going so when I decide to do this I'll be ready. Thnx all!
Iwould of thought the first pic is probably the one to go by.
Hold the wrist and press down either side and you should be able to feel where the nut and bolt heads are either side
when you locate them the cut slits along the seam, they do not need to be big cuts, you should then be able to access the wrist joint.
