ors are matching, but texturewise, the current outfit makes it very interesting indeed. Her arms and legs are silky smooth while her torso...well, she feels a bit like a retro blow up doll in this material lol.
If any of you wondering why she's posed like this it's because her left leg is now so weak that she can't even stand when leaning against something- the knee joint simply won't hold a pose.
I must say that the construction quality on Dagmar it thus far very very disappointing. Cammy's not even been with me for a year yet and she's had the most things gone wrong with her out of all my ladies- yes, including Riza whom came from aliexpress!!!
First is the breast detachment issue we've had- read back along this review and you'd find it
And then the left shoulder and elbow loosening up drasticaly within weeks.
And now her left hip and knee are pretty much without tention.
It's a shame cause I can already see that sooner or later I will need to replace her, and I do love the Dagmar design, but I'm not sure if I'll grab another Dagmar if the quality is so bad.
Incidentally, is there anyone on this forum who can restore/repair a Dagmar doll? That may be a good way to get my Cammy young again!
Hello Privatetai! Long time no speak!
I posted a comment on your on going review for Stephanie and I am happy to see that you are doing well with her. I am loving that black dress you got for her. I also mentioned the new DS EVO line to you in that thread as well. I came back here mainly to see how you were doing with Cammy and I am shocked to see you are just having so much trouble with her. It makes me wonder if I am going to have more issues with my Eryka as well. Worse is that I bought about $1000 worth of clothing for her. While I am happy with her size height and overall look, the joint problem is just so disappointing. It does have me thinking that MIGHT end up with another doll in the future mainly for photography purposes. Especially having seen these new EVO dolls from DS. They are gorgeous just like your Stephanie. They are expensive too. Even though they are light for their size, the 167cm doll is still 29kg. The 145cm is just 19kg. The taller body is amazing but it is twice the weight of my Dagmar and over 4 times the price. Let alone, I would need a new wardrobe. No...sadly it is too expensive of a proposition for me.
How is your Textile Doll holding up? Overall, I am not too thrilled about the body style, but from what you described on your review of them, they are better built than the Dagmar dolls. My big issue with Textile Doll are the plastic heads. I found the silicone head of the Dagmar doll to my liking. Heck I can even tongue kiss her. I would say the best solution for me is to see if there is an upgrade that can be done to the Dagmar skeleton. I would rather pay to have that done then to go get another doll and then have to buy a whole new wardrobe again. I have to say though, that was the nice thing about the Dagmar doll was that I was able to buy regular clothes for her. She's an easy size small in tops and size medium in bottoms. I only had trouble getting her certain dresses that didn't have enough 'give' in the bottom. But Swing dresses look awesome on her.
Anyway how have things been going on your end?
BTW Stephanie is pretty hot. Clearly my favorite out of your little group of ladies.
I can't wait to get a house again as I need a 'private room'. BTW, I did get a new insert for Eryka. It is a Venus Clone from QueenCat. It's WAY nicer than the insert that came with the Dagmar doll.
