I think maybe it's time Daria got up on a ladder and changed all the light fittings now the floor is finished.

Or has that been done already.

You two have been moving through that big old house faster than Rowsie's been able to move through the one room he has to do. We're at the hardest and most delicate stage now: convincing his mom to move her damn collection of VHS tapes out so that I can get out of the damn closet!

Daria, I have been working on my house now for the last few years. Took a break last summer to buy a new used van for my business. This coming summer I plan on rebuilding the front porch and closing it in with tons of windows. If you are still no break by then, feel free to come visit and help. Chandrelle would love to meet you and scooter.

It's been a year since I've cleaned the bathroom fan.
I put a note in my calendar to do it once a year.
Being lifted is more fun than ladders.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments.
Fixing up the sunroom was a big job for us and we can now enjoy the room much more.

We have moved on to the next task of removing the old carpet from the stairs.
I'll ask scooter to take a few pictures, but because the stairs are a tight place, most of the pictures will end up being "up-skirts".
