I believe Sarah's been here for one full year now and Stephanie just over 2 years.
I'm much more careful with Sarah's fingers- not moving them hardly ever, so hopefully they'll last a lot longer
Yeah, sadly the finger issues have been long standing with TPE / Silicoine dolls. So far, I think DS and 6YE have protection on the ends of the wires to prevent poke through. At least this is one area the fabric dolls have it down. Given the thick wires on Eryka, I didn't think I would have a problem with the fingers and on top of it, I really didn't move her fingers much. I did move her wrists when I used her arms as support in certain poses. So I was a bit cautious about that as I assumed the wrist is also wire based. I was worried more of a broken wrist than the fingers. But all of that is going to be in the past when I get Lynda. I am really only going to use Eryka for laying down on the bed and standing photography. I am not going to bend her legs much anymore.
I have to see how things go with Lynda and how much I like her. By right I really didn't want a "Harem" of doll women. As it is, I live with my family here and concealing one doll would be a challenge enough, but now I am going to have two here. As it is, I don't know what the long run will be, but for the short term, Eryka is still going to be my 'model' doll whereas the burdens of sex will be handled by Lynda. From there, I will see what happens.
I had noticed that many new buyers of Textile Dolls, inexplicably sold theirs off relatively quickly. The fellow I bought her from is just one example, but I have encountered this same situation at least 5 more times. YEt, there are those like yourself and other fellow that had his Textile doll for 3.5 years!
