I'm looking for someone knowledgeable in Teddy Babes

I recently jumped into the rabbit hole of Teddy Babes and have some idea of what to expect but there are a lot of questions I still have about Teddy Babes. Some dumb questions admittedly, some that I could only get a vague answer for. If there's someone with personal experience or knowledgeable of Teddy Babes or even know other people that make dolls similar to Teddy Babes, I would appreciate any info they could give. Although they might get a fair amount of dumb questions but I want to be sure Teddy babes is something I want to settle on. Thanks to anyone that reaches out.

I have the new Deluxe Lisa, Nicole, Diana, and Akiko. I can help with care questions, but I'm clueless on sex questions.

lmao ya you should see some of my posts, I really get into it with the sex stuff lol. I've had an original standard, pre-swivel deluxe, and an Ultra when they first came out (don't expect a good bj from that one unless putting your dick between a stack of tires turns you on

Just jumping on this as I’ve always been curious… do you have to wash the body? does it begin to discolour/smell if you don’t? Please, this isn’t suggesting that any of the owners do, but just with any plushie bear for example they all need a wash from time to time, right? How is that done?

Yes, it is necessary to freshen-up Teddy Babes from time to time but not too often. In the UK there is a fabric conditioner called Woolite. Put a cap full of this in warm water and systematically wipe over the plush with a clean damp cloth. Then dry with a hair dryer or put her in the airing cupboard. Then sparingly apply some talc and gently brush it, wiping any excess. Be careful with lips, eyes and eyebrows.

Sorry for the late reply. I am infrequently checking this post for any information. I'll shoot some off right now as some questions I don't have an exact answer on. I am big on the type of clothing involved and don't know if there are specific hazards in the types of clothing to them. i.e. staining, discoloring. Can Teddy Babes discolor in the same or similar way that TPE dolls do? and Size measurements are one of my biggest worries as I am to understand that Teddy Babes aren't exactly solid. Also while I do have some experience in sewing, is there anything else I should prepare myself for in regards to owning a Teddy Babe? As silly as this sounds, I've bought a teddy bear recently for the first time in my life as I've never owned one before to get an idea of what kind of repair work, if any, I'd be expected to do. How strong would you say a Teddy Babe is? like I don't plan to twist it like a pretzel but I wonder if pulling on an arm a bit too roughly will break something inside of them or if resting on an arm with snap it to pieces.

This answers my clean-up question. My dumbass was just going to use a soaked rag. Although is there an American equivalent of Woolite?

Woolite is sold in the US. In dry climates, wiping them down with a damp sloth is sufficient. Heavy duty sweaters should take a shower before action.
In humid climate take precautions. I have never used talc. Talc?
Teddy Babes are tough little Babes. They do not break. Be careful with the glued-on parts.

Teddy Babes are tough little Babes. They do not break. Be careful with the glued-on parts.

I think I found exactly what I'm looking for now. At first only detergents would come up and as I've been told I should NOT put it in a washing machine under any circumstance. Also I believe Talc is a body powder. I do have that but if it isn't required that's preferred.

Talc is that white powder that gymnasts use on their hands. With sweat it probably makes white mud.
NO washing machines, ever.
At night I put a silk hankie over her boobs to avoid fingerprints.
Keep her dry, dust-free and out of the sun (fading).
