I already knew. I also know how to keep a secret. I wont even divulge that it was SF that told me.

A little update from the sub tropics..

Slammed into FT Meyers which is south of Tampa. Here it is raining like crazy. Then a break at about 1 PM so I took a couple pictures.

Mr. Tree needs a haircut so maybe this will help!!

About 2 PM the Wind started to really pick up. Ran out and took 16 rapped photos.. I call this the Dance.

I would imagine Lone has lost power which is why we haven’t heard from him yet! Over 2 million people have lost power in Florida so far and that happened to him with Storm Irma in September 2017 too!

Let’s hope Storm Ian hasn’t done too much damage around where he lives!

What a trip. Everyone panicked, I enjoyed the cool breeze!!

Power and Internet just came up so that is good.

The yard looks like a giant lawn mower just mowed the top of the trees. Covered in leaves and branches. Looks like no major damage to the house and found only 5 shingles. I can't see any major damage to the yard. Looks like I will be trimming and stacking, and one palm fell over and will have to be cut down.

Ferns are sort of low, but they aren't broken so they should pop back up in a day or two.

So 3 out of 4 adults stayed up all night. One went to bed and just pretended he was in a cocoon and was said to have been snoring

We were very lucky - a 50-mile shift and we would have had a lot more damage.

I was tracking the storm on accu weather. Looked like you were just inside the hurricane. Any further in and it would have been much worse.

I had also experienced a hurricane in Florida. Was there on vacation with acquaintances
