My Kimber is on her way! I also ordered a WM head since I don’t like the basic head so much. I’m feeling weirdly impatient. Once I get her cleaned and set up, I’ll share a photo or two.
The new articulated fingers do not break off like the standard. However, care IS necessary because when the fingers knock against something, they can pretty easily break through the skin. Unfortunately, this happened with mine on two fingers.

Thanks for that, I must admit, the articulated fingers do look pretty awesome, but the fragility of them concerning when transporting the doll around or positioning her for poses in case she overbalances and falls over etc
Are they easy enough to thread back through the TPE skin if they break through as in the wired digits on the standard model?
yes but the area of the protrusion remains weak and the finger is quite sharp so and tends to repeat the breakthrough. I have never learned TPE repair.

Sounds scary, like she might stab you to death in your sleep or something.
Okay, I guess mittens or thick socks over the hands it is then.

Not coming to EU ever? I feel left out.
And I thought we had it bad, having to wait a year in the UK
Rumour has it that there is still a huge stock of unsold standard model Kimbers in the EU warehouse, and KD are afraid of suffering from the Osborne Effect This has been mentioned many times in various places and KD have never denied it; you'd think if it were false, the company would have moved quickly to scotch these suspicions. Pity they can't put customers first and let EU people have them; I checked 5 minutes ago and they are still not shown on kimberdoll.eu; as somebody who had to wait for a year to be able to buy my Kimber Deluxe, I feel your pain
