Re: Kayla 2.0 - WM 168 - Can I start Over?
My only two complaints (besides Kayla Rebecca’s heavy weight) is:
1. The joints in her arms & especially her wrists are incredibly tight to the point a person would need a wrench to turn them. (This is what I originally did with my Kayla Ruach & I ended up destroying her hands over time.) so in her case; that was the major reason that I replaced her hands to aftermarket hands because I did not want to place her entire body.
They are bigger & have much more detail & realism in my opinion at least. I even put extra long nails on them LOL!
2. Plus especially on Kayla Rebecca, as she is such a big girl & measures a whopping 5‘7.5“ tall! (171.5 cm)
However her hands just seemed too small & disproportionate compared to her large body & so they looked like little girl hands on a big woman to me at least.
So with a lot of time, effort, energy, frustrations, blood, sweat & tears; I managed to change both of her hands very successfully & plus I was able to loosen the nuts at her wrist so that at least they can move in the up-and-down vertical motion.
However I could not figure out how to loosen anything up for her wrists to be able to move from side to side in a circular motion. Therefore her wrists are still super tight & I will not even bother to move them that way ever.
So now I can hardly believe the positive differences, as I’m so much happier with the hands & with Kayla Rebecca entirely overall now.
So with both of my girls, I have changed the hands to aftermarket hands I purchased off of Amazon.
I wouldn’t recommend doing this to you unless you knew what you were doing. But here are some step-by-step photos of my painful surgery with Kayla Rebecca & so if anyone would like to message me about more info.; I can possibly give you a bit more detail of how I went about it.

Re: Kayla 2.0 - WM 168 - Can I start Over?
I became very intrigued & since I have a very active & strong relationship & faith in my Lord Jesus Christ; I have done all of this myself as well.
I won’t go into all the details of all the amazing blessings that have transpired & occurred over the years; however I will just say that my home & my dolls have been such amazing gifts, blessings & fulfillment as resources & vessels of God‘s love towards me & I’ve never been happier & those departments. However God is the source.
Therefore I created a corny comic here about it with my beautiful new Kayla Rebecca…

Rather you than me though lol
Scary procedure, especially on a brand new girly
I can see why you decided to keep her
Great stuff as always
