Four different Blow-up dolls ($25 on sale) buy just for the 3d head, hands & feet only and attach parts to the $75 NUI fabric doll using Velcro.

These will be gone in 24hours, I guessing.

What a good idea to use these inexpensive inflatables just for the hands, feet and head parts. I find the hands and feet tedious to make for textile dolls so it's probably why I mostly make torsos without limbs.

Not sure if this has been shared in the Inventors Corner. I believe this will come in handy for a plush doll project.

I found a Japanese blog with these patterns - https://takanyan2.web.fc2.com/. Use Google Translate to figure out some of the text.

For my personal tastes, I would make it larger and add more womanly features. That's what happens when I stumble upon a Japanese blog on sex dolls.

Coyote9 makes more exotic creations. His postings allow you to follow along in the making of his dolls. Can you use some of his ideas in making the "Plush doll project - lower cost method?" ...Maybe on head/face & neck post design, skeleton and choice of materials.

Posting links for Coyote9..

:D and I'm the opposite. I can't stand dolls without limbs. it brings to mind thoughts of their disability and my perversity. (there is such a perversion when some people experience sexual attraction to the disabled and crippled) so when I sewed my first artificial cotton doll using “armless” patterns and seeing the end result, I decided that this was somehow not great. 8O and that same day I sewed and sewed on her hands.
