Hi Bilbo Baggins,
A 'few months' will, I expect, seem like an eternity for you so I hope you cope okay. keeping busy is the best way.
So you have your heart set on make-up similar to Tamara's, a very good selection as she is so beautiful and elegant and spedfish has taken his sets of shots so well I would have thought they were done by a professional, truly mind blowing pictures that make Tamara so seductive and enticing. His use of light is on a par with the best and it is my belief that the shots are only a few of many taken to get those effects right, yes, I do photography and light is hard to get into the right place and intensity, low or high level and many shots are not acceptable, only that special few when it all comes together.
So I and I am sure all that are following this thread wait for more of those delicious pictures.

Thanks for the kind comments, and I'm definitely looking forward to you posting pics!!
Thanks,I wish I was a pro, and you are right about the "many shots taken". I take a ton of 'em and keep the ones that pop out at me. I wish I could say I totally understand all the camera settings, its basically just trial n error, change settings, move lights, etc till I like what I get.angelah wrote:

Yes, that sounds about right, just keep trying new angles and lighting positions, take loads and then pick out the best. As you said some 'pop out' at you and they are always worth investigating more in PSP or Photoshop.
You will also get more used to camera settings and how they will effect the shot, like a short field of view to 'haze out' the background and bring into focus about a foot (12 inches) of your subject. Using shadows to advantage too, like putting them over an area that will imply mystery or highlighting one area while taking others out with shadow. It is a never ending play on settings, light and positioning and great fun, especially now we have digital cameras. I began with film and that was a pain having to get it developed quickly to see shots and possibly having to take them over again. Digital is so easy and with a hefty card in your camera it's possible to take hundreds of shots. Using lighting is yet another whole new area and needs a lot of thought, but there is so much you can do and get inventive with.
And after the shoot and hard work.....
Good luck and more shots of your beautiful Companion soon.
