Re: New owner of Barbie/Shannon model
The problem is the waistband on that skirt is too thick. What is that, 2.5 inches tall? I saw that this is the most typical design and I had to hunt around for one with a shorter waistband for my Brie.Dolltographer wrote:Dang... I just realized that I took these shots and the skirt was too high... no belly button showing.
I went with this skirt, getting the 25" small instead of 24" x-small so it would sit a little lower. It arrived from China the other day and fits my 165 wonderfully, but for a Barbie/Shannon you'll have to modify even the x-small I think for that tiny hourglass figure because it does not stretch at all.

Thanks for the tip... and yeah... pretty much all the clothes need tweaking. Nothing fits a 16.5 inch waist. In the pics with the plaid skirt, the top has three safety pins pulling it tight around the back and waist. The same is true for the skirt.JunkGuy wrote:The problem is the waistband on that skirt is too thick. What is that, 2.5 inches tall? Thanks and yeah...it is pretty much a pain. This outfit took about twice as long to put on as the plaid skirt outfit. I kind have a method... just gotta be patient.Koop wrote:Nice! Was it a pain to put on such tight clothing?
