Brutal thread for a brutal situation, some easier, some worse, all are stressful.

A week ago tomorrow the order went through for my Sino "Lin Yanyan", S33 & 162cm "E":

Custom, detailed, pretty much all the options. I figure if I"m going to drop a few grand at all I should get exactly what I want and need, you know? "In for a penny"... Besides, I've been holding off for many years, until seeing her made my heart skip a beat. I'm expecting two months until she arrives. How am I gonna not sleep for two months?

Has any body else gone through The Doll House? They are based out of London and have a DC and Houston branch. Phil, the CEO, provided great customer service thus far, putting up with every question and answering every email. There are some things that give me pause though, so I'm generally withholding judgement until she arrives.

Update: I've continued to run through the forums and see that *many* have gone through The Doll House, and that Phil's been damn noble dealing with UK parliament, shipping companies ad nausium... I'm much more confident now that I've gone through pages upon pages of positive reviews.

I have noticed this thread is starting to become more quiet. Looks like a lot of people are receiving their dolls and for the others, really no updates to post presently. It is interesting how things wax and wane. I hope you all are doing well and enjoying your weekend!

No updates for my order at this moment, so I've been silent myself. Today, I have been mostly just cuddling with Kanna and Asami. Or perhaps napping would be more accurate. I'm not sure if I actually slept, but if I didn't, I was wondering around near the edge of being asleep and awake.

It does vary presently. It can be anywhere from two weeks to three months or more. It depends on the popularity of the brand, how many orders they are currently working on and of course the dreaded state of affairs regarding shipping. Also the country you reside in can also have its own delays in package delivery, customs clearing, etc.

Options of the doll being produced, + quality control, and of course if a vendor has something in stock vs not also seem to play a roll as well.

Mine is taking longer, because of a few factors. Very detailed work being done, including implanting hair, high quality control, none just in stock because she is brand new to the world, so each one being made from scratch.

I do not think she is the most popular one, but she is being done with another smaller lighter version of the same quality and detail work. So mine is somewhere in the middle of a batch of some other ladies.

Other dolls that have been made for awhile seem to be moving quicker, and those already in stock with vendors are the fastest.

My fear is I used a bad site. With that said this would be my first purchase and I am reading posts about delays being normal. very frustrating. Any info on premium dolls.com ?
