There is quite a difference. In natural lighting, the fair tone is really very pale.
Your 166 cm Céline doll is light tan, right?
Do you have problems with paint being erased by abrasion? This is a problem that seems to be recurring with many silicone dolls, but some brands seem less affected than others. What about your ITs, who are big travelers and put on and take off a lot of clothes?
Hey 4891d, my 166 Celine is also fair tone. Mishka will bring his Real Lady, to my place next week, so we can compare skin tones. Not to mention, I would like to see if my Celine head will look good on his Real Lady body.
My 166 still has it's paint. Though she has gone on two cross country trips, fallen into an alligator infested lake and I have now had her for over a year and a half, she is still holding up well. Only a slightly loose knee joint and one finger poke. Remember she is one of 31 dolls, so she still does not get used as much as if she were an only doll.
Also, the dark tan tone has very light freckling or sun spots on her skin for added realism. The fair tone does not. In this photo, if you look towards the bottom of the photo, you can see the small spots.
