WOW Gents, I remember Bob Paris from back in the late 80s when I too was more into the gym lifestyle scene myself, and I recall much discussion about him being proudly out. He used to do reasonably well at the Mr Olympia's, but off Memory that was dominated then by Lee Haney, who was always a cut about the rest.

I do remember his individual posing performances were always very artistic, and he pioneered demonstrating fluid dance and flexibility into his posing routines, that has now become an integral part of the competitions performances.

A good choice of role model, and I think he may have had some cameo in the occasion film in the era. He also pioneered the phrase "Muscle Mary" in a MuscleMag interview as well.

Glad you liked the redo mix, the video that goes with it is very entertaining....

Lily had a lot of fun doing it! (as did I doing the vocal track morphing and redoing many of the instrumental fills (my 6 string Bass has not been slapped like that in a while)

Thanks for the videos and photos. I like the multilayering in the video. You are very talented. Are you a professional in digital field?

As you said and as your videos show, apart from being a good looking body builder Bob brought artistry to muscle posing. In 2006 the Flex Magazine, the big name in the field of body building, ranked him the most aesthetic athlete in the history of body building; a huge accolade.
He is also a civil rights activist and a good writer too.

For me personally, apart from being my heartthrob Bob was an inspiration when I was planning to come out as gay to my family and friends. Even nowadays he is a guide to me in healthy living - physically and spiritually.

Nice to portray him on this thread, albeit without planning. He does fit in well with the topic.

Hey Steve, yes, that was the term I was after aesthetics and artistry that has certainly showcased and improved the viewers experience for these competitions.

As for making videos, I do that as a fun hobby, In the last year or so I started networking with some actual pros to learn some things and tricks, in an attempt to make better productions , as I use videos to show case some of my music, and look to help the band make better videos and cut down on professional producer overheads.

Myself, I am retired on a military pension, and play the odd gig here (actually got gig hangover from an show down south last night, as not a spry as I once was) and there to make some extra money these days, when the guitar making orders are not coming in, All just hobby business to keep me busy in retirement.

Lily certainly had a lot of fun in that video and I am unsure if whether she enjoyed performing or torment poor Anung more, perhaps equal measures.

I agree Bob does send a great message to all, and he certainly is another memorable personality from my fave era of the 80s!

Perhaps a pilgrimage one year to the Sydney Mardi Gras, it is quite the party.

Gents, I do not know if you have seen this, but wow....

That is my idea of a big show and night out, and one on my Bucket list to see live.

I have no idea how I would stay off the Antarctica Original's though (in the heat, they are magic!).

The atmosphere and groove there is electric, and if I ever get to live my dream and play the Rio nightclub circuit, I am timing that adventure for around Carnival, how can one not see a show like that up close and live, at least once in a lifetime!

Sadly, my Samba days are well behind me, but, I have no problem enjoying the close observation of the experts! It is living art!

This is awesome I'm having a TPE guy made custom later this month and should be home by early next month. I've been in a relationship for 13yrs now and I stumbled upon the doll community and I immediately told my partner I wanted one since we work opposite schedules through the week and I'm usually always home alone when hes gone and vice versa. Thanks Anung for the awesome video. No carnival in the world can compete with Rio carnival in terms ot spectacle and spectators. It was very fortunate that it took place just before pandemic was declared.

I also find Latin guys, particularly Brazilians and the Spanish very sexy. And they are the most gorgeous out and proud gay men in the world. Here is the photo of me with Brazilian guy at London Pride parade. ( Don't tell Tom. )

Yes, that was an epic spectacle, my clan and I watched it live on the big screen here, with the big sound, when SBS telecast it.

My sister was in awe of the costumes and the figures on some of the named dancing "gals" leading the floats and processions.

I explained to her what she was seeing, and her response was "Well, great tits and arse is great tits and arse anywhere I guess", she is kinda direct like that, my brother in law, thought I was having a lend of him, he still does not believe me

but the rhythm and the sound and spectacle, well.... it is just something extraordinary.

As for the latin fella, he is a bit too hairy for me pal, the whole velcro beard thing would be awkward

As a thought, and not sure if you could swing it, if you can get a shot with Tom in the foreground, with yourself positioned just right a distance back still in focus to match scale with a decent distant lens, that would make quite the image, as it would bring Tom to life size scale. Like I said, just a thought.
