Those are the stock V1 Kizuna eyes.
I've only swapped eyes in Smart Dolls twice and those are in characters yet to appear in the story.

Maybe the book was boring.
I know its a very good book,
but compared to the exciting life of a doll, a story about little people with hairy feet and large appetites is not all that exciting.
