Sino should make an anime doll like this!

I saw this picture of a Smart Doll Plus (120cm, non-sex doll), and it's exactly what I think people are looking for in an anime style doll. If sinodoll could make one in silicone, even just as a head option for existing bodies, I'm sure she'd be popular. So I thought I'd post this and see if it gets their attention!

If anyone's interested, the doll on the left is a standard smartdoll which is 60cm. The big one hasn't been released, and may never be. I've seen a few full-size doll attempts at a full on anime look, but this one is the best I've seen.

What do people think? Would you want to see a similar silicone doll?

I think any manufacturer would be smart to make a doll like that .

Agreed! Someone will do it.

There is a large doll with an Anime face. But, it somehow doesn't capture the allure of the Smart Doll Plus.

I definitely want one.

One big problem however is the eyes. Personally really don't want them to be just flat prints, like many have done so far. Something more similar to eyeballs, with depth, that can be moved and changed for posing and different looks. I've seen plenty for 3d-models achieve this without looking weird, and also many of the Kigurumi masks for that matter. So it's definitely possible.

But of course with such a different kind of eyes it probably require a slightly different skull inside. But I do think the effort will be worth it in the long run considering how massive the anime crowd is, and I'm sure there are a LOT of people out there who would like a physical 3d version of their favorite waifu

Btw, anyone knows how popular silicone/TPE-dolls are in Japan?

I'd also want to have a doll with this kind of a face. But unless there's a body with B or C cup breasts to go with it, which Sino currently doesn't have, I'm unlikely to buy it.

That head would be simple to make due to lack of detail such as nose and lips.
The eyes would be simple as well. You just need to make a mold of the correct ball size and have iris prints made up. Find the correct size glass lenses for the iris. I've already made the eyes for my project silicone head via the same process. Doesn't matter whether they are 1" or 1-1/2".

I find it almost shocking that there aren't more anime style heads for modern love dolls. I'm sure the demand currently vastly outweighs the product available.

Given the gap in the market, a true anime doll would be a huge seller for the manufacturer that get it right.

So thinking even bigger picture here,

Perhaps Sino could joint venture with Smart DOLL and Danny Choo, to deliver said doll with all the various options features of the full bells and whistles model.

So if peoples are happy paying for the 1/3 rds current cost, imagine what they would pay for the full size functional item.
