SM 168c Tan Silicone Beauty

Many thanks to Star for the rapid shipment of my new 168c Silicone beauty!

I got her unpacked this week and took a few photos as sort of an introduction. In addition to being all silicone, she has SM's "upgraded" silicone hands and feet, meaning they are cast from a more solid silicone than the rest of her soft, squeezable body. No chance of finger pokes or floppy noodle fingers and standing feet without bolts, imagine that!

These first pictures feature "Lisa" an X8 head.

Congratulations, Out_Of_Sync, she looks lovely

As far as I can tell from the photos, SM have done a great job of disguising the seams where the harder silicone of the hands and the feet meets the softer silicone of the arms and legs.

Boltless is nice, but how long she can stand for will depend on the skeleton design at the base of the leg above the sole of the heel. If there is sharp metal there or a hard edge, the skeleton will force its way through the silicone in time.

Sorry, I've busy the last week and haven't had too much doll fun time, but I want the thank everyone for their positive feedback on the 168c picts

Thanks PDutus! SM really did a great job hiding the transition from hard to soft silicone. I don't know if there is some new technique involved, but it makes all the difference in the world. I'll keep you posted on how the feet hold up. I wouldn't try standing her barefoot on a hard surface or in heels without supplemental support, but I got her some cheap trainers with a gel insole that I think will protect her feet pretty well. The silicone on the sole of her foot seems pretty thick and she has a nice big 8 to 8 1/2 size foot to distribute her weight.

Thanks Pip-Doll88! More picture are coming! I haven't put her on the scale yet, but I'd say the listed weight is pretty accurate.

That all sounds good, OOS

I have a Sino 161 with the boltless standing option and the seam between hard and soft silicone is far from subtle

I left her standing for a month wearing socks and trainers and when I checked her feet, there was a small split in the sole of her right heel where the metal had been pressing down with her weight (easily repairable with Sil-Poxy). The left foot was fine. So the Sino's boltless option certainly isn't designed for long term standing (they may have improved it by now of course).
