BJD Get togethers- How to find them?

So, I really want to go to one of these BJD convention thingys, but I have no idea how to find local ones going on.

I know Volks USA is in LA, I plan to go there in a few weeks, maybe there are some shows in LA?

I thought maybe the convention center but it looks like there isn't anything there

For anyone who knows how to find these things, please let me know!

I'm looking for anything in Pennsylvania, California, or specifically Los Angeles (Added- New York, New Jersey is also ok)

If you're looking for a smaller, local group you could also try meetup.com. I've joined a few groups on there-- for hiking, photography and movies, mostly-- but did a search for "dolls" out of curiosity. All of the search results that came up were for BJDs and other types of collectible dolls... not my cup of tea.
