Daria Ran Off to the Rio Olympics!

Over the past few weeks, Daria has been talking about Rio a lot

Can we go to the Rio Olympics. It would be fun.
Sorry Dasha. We can't right now. I am a little tight on cash and my credit card is mysteriously maxed out.


I know she had her heart set on us going to Rio, but I never thought she would run off.
When I woke up this morning, her half of the bed was empty except for a note pinned to the pillow.
Dearest binky.
I'm sorry to leave you all alone, but I would never forgive myself if I missed the Olympics.
I will call you every day and will send you pictures.
Please don't be angry. I'll be home right after the closing ceremonies.

I don't know if all dolls are like Daria, but she has the ability to travel in space and time to anywhere she desires.
I think many dolls posses this superpower, but I am not sure because Daria is the one and only doll I have ever known.

At first I was a little angry that she left without permission, but mixed in with the anger was a sadness that I couldn't be with her.
Wait.... my email alarm just went off.

Another Day in Rio

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback.
Thanks Netwit for the zoom picture.
Also thank you to newbie theml who made his very first first post replying to this topic.

I talked with Daria on the phone last night and relayed all your comments.
She can't be online right now because the WiFi in the Athletes Village is a little spotty.
She sends big hugs to all of you.

So today was the second day I woke to a cold empty bed. I'm missing Daria really bad. I don't think I can last until the closing ceremonies..
I was thinking of ordering her to come home, but decided against it for two reasons.
1) Daria does not listen to orders, so would stay in Rio anyways.
2) Everyone is liking her pictures and would be angry at me if I did order her home.

As soon as I woke up I checked my email. Daria sent 2 pictures.

Hi binky. I'm still hanging out with the beach volleyball girls. These girls know how to party!


I'm getting good at this. My setting is improving every day.
