yep, have read too. A matte finish painted or sprayed on something. IIRC it can be rubbed off (like other body paint applications) , but IDK. I´d prefer something permanent though.DollPhilosopher wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 7:42 amProducts to degloss silicone women already exist, and I remember reading about someone here using one and being happy with it. African ladies are very pretty, but the real challenging part is their skin color.
That complexion is so unique and it has a nice shine.
Possibilities for Africans/mixed Africans are endless. Skin color shouldn´t be an issue like i.e IronTech proved (on silicone ladies). Silicone shine should be not more than caucasians or asians, but of course highlights get pronounced on dark shiny surfaces. That would be a good opportunity finding measures to remove or decrease that shine from production methods IMO. How about skin texture or a mild chemical solvent that roughens up the surface a bit? I´m not a chemist so it might be easier said than done. But worth some thoughts for sure.

...Taking into account only the examples of photos from the poster,
without additional pictures of each girl from different angles,
let's say that girl number 12 attracted the most attention this time....

I'm not so worried about the tone and colors; many manufacturers can do that well. What I haven't seen is anyone get the facial features correct. The shape of the eyes, nose, lips and cheeks all can be distinct, and can contribute much more than skin tone for indicating a person's ethnicity.Doll Sweet - EXdoll wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 3:32 amGaijin wrote: ↑Wed Mar 15, 2023 6:49 pm Some beautiful women listed here, but they are all European. As a connoisseur of Asian women's faces, and one of the seemingly few white Americans who not only doesn't think Asians all look alike but can usually tell their general gene pool (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, etc.) I heartily agree with your statement about facial feature details exhibiting ethnicity more than skin tone. I have also known many Latinas and Africans. Their features are also very specific.Gaijin wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 12:59 pmI'm not so worried about the tone and colors; many manufacturers can do that well. The great challenge is that most of the dollmakers are Asian, and there aren't many Latinas or Africans in Asia, so their experience with them is limited, therefore recreating them is harder, because it's art, and so much of art is mentally visualizing your goal.

yep, that´s what I mean but not sure either. Should be permanent in any case. I dislike powdering for its side effects in photo shooting. Unless for MU effects on certain small face areas.DollPhilosopher wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 1:08 pmI thought it was an etching agent, but am not sure.-Ragnar66- wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 11:35 am yep, have read too. Thanks for asking. I voted for number-2 for lack of a better choice. However, IMHO, the following models are more attractive. The first photos are from a former well known fashion model, the second from a former Japanese porn star and the third from a cam girl model. Furthermore, if you want to get more customers, you should consider making a slim light weight model doll. Ideally it would be 170cm tall and weighs 22kg max including the head. If such height is not possible for that weight, it could be reduced down to 160cm. Trading softness for lightness in some areas(except breast and vagina) could perhaps achieve this.
Regards,
Mike
