So another my dream candidates coming in soon (Penny #104) in Tan skin color. I´d like having her in black, but lack the body for her (yet). So our Tan 155cm IronTech should do for a while. Have a very light skin ebony then which is okay for now. I ordered couple hours ago at Coeroshttps://www.coeros.com/product/irontechdoll-heads/, having become my favorite vendor for almost everything. Very friendly and talkative guys (and gals?) having excellent prices as well.
I ordered in a more non-standard head configuration with changed eyebrow style and different MU. My main template is supposed to be her below (Dawn R.), but I´ll see what I could make of her in practice then.

Here´s some related factory pic of Penny in fair skin (changed eye color to dark brown in GIMP). Mine (Tan) will come maybe in a week or two I hope.

Like for my other gals, this will be her main thread here. Got to find a name for her but haven´t made my mind about that yet. If she´s close enough to Dawn above, then she might become a "Dawn". But I think rather not (Dawn).
Wig ordered as free accessory seems beeing the same as 2019 coming with my Izabel. viewtopic.php?p=1503446#p1503446 Though apparently in waaaay better quality. (likely comparable to that coming with Tracy/Sajara)
Bits of playing around with "African" high hairlines and forehead shape to see where the possible problem lies usually. My experimental victim for this is Izabel since she´s African facial and head shape features already. Got to deal with that more intensively once Penny (not settled for a unique name yet) arrived at Rags Outpost. One version has Izabel with wig placed further up than "usual". The other is more "extreme". Anybody see where the problem lies?
Beautiful topic and beautiful your love for the different heads as you mentioned earlier. Hope you find a nice name for the new girl/head soon. And yes, the colorful ladies are beautiful.

Thank you! I know you´re into beauty of color as well. I´ll find a name for sure, though it´s a challenge. The more that I need two. (for an alter ego).
Couple more pics. This time with a freshly washed brazilian human hair wig. It has tighter fit and it´s less problematic than the previous (synthetic) wig where the lace rim can hardly be hidden due to head size (Izabel has 52cm).

This shampoo is goddess smell btw! Works on synthetic, but it´s breathtaking on human hair. If you´re into these kind of smells of course.

Penny's head is one of the best ebony heads I've seen, very nice.
Yeah, I agree. There´s other nice Africans from other brands as well, but IronTech nailed it with her IMO. Not "stereotype" and versatile enough to character create all sorts of styles on her. From traditional to lady of soul and everything between. I hope I can prove this very soon!
My favorite promo pics of her btw. (although wig choices in part are doubtable )

As a Black person, I'll let you know that a greater proportion of African American people, as is the lady from En Vogue, are of Nigerian descent.
Thanks! Interesting info. In fact I find the west equatorial (africa) ones the most beautiful. No wonder that so many AA are I once had a GF from Togo and the example picture one is not unsimilar, though she was black as night. Loved it! Unortunately we didn´t get too well along culturally. She´s very religious and family oriented. Wanted marrying me just after few weeks, so had to quit.
