Hi,

yes, there is always some fluctuaction, and the TDF vendor descriptions are sometimes out of sync.

There are various reasons why a certain manufacturer is discontinued; usually we are not supposed to discuss this in public.

In regard to JM it's quite simple and no secreat - they just decided a while ago not to cooperate with (any) vendors anymore; instead they do direct sales only. If you see a vendor still carrying JM, you will know that the doll in question is either rather dated, or the vendor is supplied through wholesale channels. For customers that means that there will be no factory warranty for these purchases.

In other cases, the reasons to discontinue a certain manufacturer or a certain brand are much less pleasant.

...but I don't think they do. At least it isn't listed as a supplier on their website, though searching it for "JM" brings up some old blog posts.
