Been thinking of getting one of the new upcoming Phicen dolls, which look pretty good. How good are they, quality wise ?? I've preordered one of the new PLLB2013-16 dolls. They aren't released until next month so it'll be awhile before I can check it, but the sales blurb does seem to suggest the v4...

Although the picture is in the public domain, it still has copyright, and if they just took it and used it as their own, it's a copyright infringement. Surely the image is only in the public domain if b-man released it to the public domain ? The site's Terms of Use give TDF a non-exclusive license ...

If arm cotter pins or bones need replacing, then unstuff the arms. I'd possibly use an eyebolt with a compression spring under the nut in the body side for the arm joint rather than a cotter pin if I was doing that. That should keep the joint tight while still giving a bit of flexibility for dressi...

Unless you can get access to the inside of the seam, then ladder stitch is the best bet. I'd be tempted to do it saddle stitch style with two needles to avoid the zig zag seam it normally gives.
