I got my 172E with 204 head this week. right seems most manufacturers list silicone & TPE dolls as seperate models, wheras starpery are unique in having silicone & TPE versions of the same models (& only show the sillicone versions in the photoshoots).
I'd guess the two materials have different design tradeoffs.
