I get my mineral oil from the pharmacy as a matter of preference. The baby oil smell is overwhelming to me after a while.

Fiber needs kinked to have an effect, and then of course it's garbage.

Do you know what Android phones use? It works offline and it's fast. Perhaps there's a way to run it with something like Anbox.

Fiber optic cable can definitely not be used as a sensor unless the path is physically broken, I use a lot of fibers at work and bending it has no effect. Photo resistors change resistance based on light level and lend themselves to a voltage divider circuit.

That\s a little damage over a large area, I'd clean it well all around with softsoap and water, load it up with mineral oil, and heat it with a heat gun. Keep the heat moving, don't linger, and smooth it with a spoon or something similar.

What is the overall material needed to provide repairs like small cuts or abrasions? I know some sort of heat gun is needed but what else is used during a repair? Videos no longer show. This is a really cool project but aren't you going to make like a 150 LB pair of juggs in the end? They seem like, as awesome as they are, REALLY heavy. The fat filling might just flatten out under it's own weight.

I've been playing with whisper lately, and can see in your Github that you're using Whisper for this project. Mine has a 4-6 second delay before returning text, and I'm curious if you were able to make it faster?
