Its been awhile since I've worked with fiberglass resin. its a real BITCH sorry mod just couldn't control my sailor mouth... I gotta make that top layer stronger against the fiberglass resin attack......bummer!

smooth on I've heard of, got some free samples from them, there cool but I use polytech in PA. They have that plat silicone gel 10 can be used with a dick smiths deadner, that makes it like real skin . Yes, it's pretty nice stuff. But look at the working time.
