European/UK Doll Meet 2015 picture thread

Last weekend doll owners and admirers of TDF and UKLDF joined in the UK for the annual EU/UK doll meet.
And what a great time we had

As always, a lot of photo shoots, a lot of drinks, good food, FRIENDS and dolls.
I didn't count the exact number, but there were over twenty (human) attendees. Among them deerman from over the pond

, Italian_Dreamer from Spain

, doll owners from Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands, UK. And we were all happily surprised Bob 'G.' and his wife did join us

Sure, it was about the dolls, and we had more than forty of them. Unfortunately a few dollies couldn't join the all dolls picture, but forty could

I took a few (hundred) pictures myself. I'll post some of them later, I just got home today as I extended my stay in the UK with a few days and I need some time sort it all out.

Hi Nes, the pic was worth the work that went into it. Thanks to Karrot for his strategic planning. I´ll post some pics here tomorrow when I´m done checking them.

Yeah thanks to Karrot too for his organisational skills.

Forty dolls, wow, I hadn't counted them but that's a lot.

Fantastic memorable event.

What a wonderful pic that is!

Good to see you got back home safe and sound.

It was really great to meet some people on their way back through the south east too. I was supervising a film company . . . and this meet happens at a bad time for me so it's great to meet up with anyone passing within striking distance of Gatwick.

That doll bottom left, I don't recognise her! Who is she? I won't upset her by saying "What" is she . . . but she's very beautiful. The one cuddling a softie . . .

No! Remember! Note to self: must not let a doll look me in the eyes! :haha4:

Seriously though, IMHO she's very beautiful.

It's nice to see the ladies there I recognise too - Lissa, Hanna, Lady Emanuelle, Pris, Xiaoli, Timbo's lady - is that Martine? A Real Lady of some celebrity status I should recognise on the right, Signe and her sister, Kate's Annie (she's blushing rather a lot) and Dizius' lady, backed up by such a chorus of plushy lovelies . . .

And love the vampire witch overlooking the group from the top of the stairs . . .

Hi together,
same here, I'm still on the rework job of 304 photos taken.....but happy on what I see on my screens

We've had some special guests which brought a lot of fun on the river shooting

WOW, Zoe looks so alive and sweet sunbathing along the river, I had to save this photo of her for my own album here at home!

I am happy to see the start of a photo thread for the UK doll meet and look forward to saving many photos from the meet to admire!

Looks like you guys had a real nice time, just as it should be!

Hi All

,

firstly, a big thanks to Nes for posting the meet photo and starting this thread. Karrot did a great job in organising the dolls, so a big thumbs up to him

. It was a difficult shot to take (lighting wise) and Nes and I went through all the photos I took before going back to one of the very firsts ones

. I have a full size version of that at over 5000 x 4000 if anyone want s to print it out. Anyway just email me on that at kharn@coverdoll.com and I'll send a copy, but it will be about 10 mega bites in size.

The meet was fantastic, we had a few that couldn't make it this year, so the people count was a little down but we had a surprise visit from Bob and Liz, which was great

.

Many photos were taken over the weekend at a few locations. The one of Zoe above was taken down by the river. We had a few people admiring the dolls and a few activity people doing some rafting, one of which asked if he could have his photo taken with the dolls

. The public now seem to be really interested and accepting of the dolls, so don't be shy and get your doll out

.

Nes and I went through hundreds of photos on Wednesday, I transferred all the ones I took to his laptop, so expect some really nice photos coming this way.

I have a few private ones for some members like Mondoon, haremlover, Deerman and a few others that I'll send in due course. But I know Nes has lots of photos for CoverDoll now

.

Anyway, some great locations, great weather, beautiful dolls and most of all, some really nice company

. Look out for the eyecandy and see you all next year

The doll on the bottom left, the one holding the bear, is Raven. She's Fen's 4Woods EX -so technically Lissa's sister

Front row from left to right: Raven (with bear and little dollie), Hanna, Zoe, Lissa, Kiki (with Maiko and Yoshimi).
Behind Raven is Justine, she came with Bob and Liz.

Kharn and I did over 1,000 pictures, so we need some time to sort it all out. I'll post a few in this thread, and don't forget to have a look at the October, November, December issues of CoverDoll
