I know it might feel awkward, but they are there to help you, so if that is what you want then they should help out. You could always say you are looking for something nice for your girlfriend.

But I can see that you would be more inclined to have someone here from TDF help you out as well, we are kind of in the same boat together and are more understanding since most of us are either doll owners are those aspiring to be one.

I only got her that one pair for I found out very quickly that in the heat of the moment...it is one extra step to getting where I want to be. So many times, I just have her in crotchless pantyhose. For bottoms, she usually has on a skirt. I like them best for obvious reasons. They show off the legs and easy access!

Lol yeah, panties on fabric dolls don't really do that much for me- on silicone/TPE they add a nice contrast to texture.

Understood. As I said, I only have the one pair of panties for her and mainly I bought them for modesty / pictures. For intimacy though, it is just another thing to get in the way. That being said, I have never bought shorts or pants for her for the same reason. Skirts, particularly mini skirts are my favorite and under that she usually has crotchless pantyhose. In this manner I could go from a photo shooting session straight to intimacy just by laying her on the bed and lifting her skirt.

Another option I opt for is a button crotch leotard. The bottom snaps closed and effectively covers her up, even with the crotchless pantyhose on. I just have to undo the snaps on the crotch and I am good to go.

Yeah, I love those leotards witht he snap shut crotch lol. And yeah, that's why I al most never dress my gals in shorts. It's extra work and like you said, would just get in the way later.

Indeed. I am sure many doll owners feel the same way. There are many times that I finish putting on her undergarments (pantyhose / sports bra) and that is enough there to already trigger a reaction and as I am continuing to dress her, my body has other plans. So right then and there, halfway dressed, on the bed she goes! LOL!

That is why before I do anything...the insert goes into the doll FIRST!

As I mentioned in the other post of which I don't think I told you yet, but Eryka will be coming out of the box next week while my family is going away on vacation. It is only going to be for 3 nights, but I wanted to make those days count! So yeah, I am taking her out of the box and even though I do have outfits packed with her, I am going to get her something new as well. I am actually planning on two new outfits and I have a new wig for her that I bought at the time I packed her away. So she will have a nice new look and yes I will be taking many pictures of her too.

Hahaha, I kinda like doing them when they're half dressed like that sometime- just an extra level of sluttiness. And yes, insert goes in before all else just in case the mood struck! With heavier dolls like the TPE ladies, the effort in dressing them is greater so tends to temper down a bit of the urges cause one's focusing on moving them and not hurting them/himself...lol
It's a good tease though, I find after I dress/pose/photo Stephanie and Sarah, I sit down, take a breather, get a sip of coffee, and then I'm fully ready for action!

I could imagine. You are mainly struggling with the weight of the doll just to get her dressed. With me I get started with her bottoms first as usually it is the pantyhose and that has to go on first as it goes over the waistline. I like the high waist style pantyhose because it not only protects the legs, but all of the hips, buttocks AND most of the abdomen too. One I stand her up and then select a top I put that on. It is between this point, putting on her wig, or bottoms when something happens. So if it is a strong feeling, I just put her wig on and then go from there. It usually ends up with her on the bed. Especially if she has that curly hair wig on. That one is my favorite anyway.

I am not sure if you are into curly hair wigs, but I have to tell you that they require MUCH less maintenance than straight hair, especially LONG straight hair. Curly hair is also good for sleeping with. I almost never have to comb out that wig.

Mmmmm, I'll ahve to get one to try on one of my girls one of these days. I ahve noticed with my Mia doll Sarah, she has shorter hair and is alot less work and less shedding lol.

Yup! Shorter hair is way better to maintain. Since you can't see, you are killing yourself with maintaining all those long hair-dos on your dolls. I can understand if you like long hair, but probably best leave that for pictures and such. Don't take a doll in the sack with you with long hair. It is going to get all messed up. I had better luck with the short hair...but even so, short straight hair still has to be styled. Wavy hair is better, but so far I found that curly hair wig I have sheds very little and it doesn't go out of place. I rarely have to comb it too. It is the perfect wig to take her to bed with for those reasons. I can definitely see Sarah with this kind of hair style.

It is a great wig for the price. VERY little shedding. It is shoulder length and very full. Should you dare to lay her on top of you, face to face, the curls will fall down and make like a curtain around your face. For me it is a nice place to look into her eyes. I know you can't do that, but you could probably feel the closeness. For me it is a nice feeling all around. I don't know though, you might find it too confining, but I like it and this is the only wig it happens with due to the way the curls fall. It has a couple adjustable straps in the cap to adjust for head size. So you really only have to set it once and it makes for easy on/off, when dressing your doll.

Yeah that's why Cammy, Jewel and Riza all got ponytails/braids now, alot easier to keep the hair in place that way lol.

You're Welcome. The best way to describe that hair style is if you are familiar with the typical African kinky curly style. Not Afro mind you. The curls are not that fine. They are courser and have more of a uni-racial look. Meaning the style is suited for both black and white women. So the curls are bigger, but not Shirley Temple big. Very similar, but slightly tighter curls. It is a bit difficult to explain without you being able to touch it. I am going to say it is a very nice style to touch and even run your fingers through. The curls feel different than straight hair. But that wig is very soft and it is very enjoyable to look at and touch. Not only did I hit a home run with that wig, but it went straight out of the ballpark!

Then my next favorite wig is the short, wavy Platinum Blonde wig. The style is very close to the scalp on that one and it is a little more curving away from the neck on the back. It is also a pretty hair style that doesn't require much maintenance, but it does need more combing and styling than the curly wig.

Yes, I have noticed. Their hair is much neater now. The first pictures you took of Cammy had her hair all over...and her eyes were out of position too! I never actually tried to move her eyes. I figured it would be another thing to 'loosen up'. Her eyes came perfectly front and centered and I left them that way.

Moving her eyes was a bit of a disturbing experience...as disturbing as taking off their heads lol

It was in the beginning, but I got over it. But sadly it is a thing that must be done with pullover clothing, because the arms cannot go above the head on most dolls. Still, I don't like to take the head off/on, off/on all the time when changing clothes. That is I been buying more clothing with zippers or wide head openings to avoid that. The two new dresses I have coming in the mail for next week both have step into skirts and zippered backs.

Yup! At first I was sliding the head on and off as that was easy, but then I worried about the friction inside the head doing that. So changed over to unscrewing the head, but I noticed this was wearing out the part of the fabric that was around the bolt. So I found a rather large washer that fit around the bolt and that stopped the material from wearing. But still from screwing and unscrewing there is more of a danger of losing grip on the head near the ends of the thread. One slip and the head falls to the floor. So, I try to limited head removal if I can. So there is a definite trend shift in my clothing buying and that more and more Eryka's clothes has zippers or some clasp to open up the neck area so I can fit it over her head. So I have been looking at more open neckline items as well and some front zippered items, as you can naturally 'zip in' as much cleavage exposure you want to with an outfit like that. So then it goes on and removes like a jacket.

The only thing is that you can go cheap here because the first thing they cut back on is the zipper and you don't want that breaking on you. Especially in your case since you cannot see the zipper, if it gets stuck on you, it might be difficult to free it. Snaps or buttons might be better, but most dresses and skirts use zippers. Many open back halters have an elastic waistband and clasps for the part that goes around the neck or there might even be a tie that goes around the neck...even better.
