Great job there Arthur!! My poor 140A girl suffered some spills like you mentioned and I stood her up a while without shoes(ignorance) and the studs in her feet were screwed in too far and I didn't know they could be unscrewed to protrude a bit. All novice mistakes.

She has some abrasions and nicks that I'm unaccustomed to repairing so far. I have no heat gun station, I guess it's called, and the TPE glue I've tried here and there have been for naught. We learn our mistakes You girl looks fabulous in light of the perils you've described. Kudos to you, my good man! As we say down South, you done good.

One thing's for sure-I wouldn't attempt to get her in the shower though that would be a memorable experience.

Ha ha I know what you mean adelea, there is something rather satisfying about seeing soapy suds on a lovely bod! and I'm pretty impressed with her feet considering I've stood her a few times and she doesn't have standing foot bolts.

Thanks ColColt, I was cleaning her today and just thought it might be useful for any prospective doll owners to see that it's not impossible to keep a tpe gal looking presentable, even one that's been put through her paces quite a bit! I like to do the clean on a bath stool as I just find it easier and a 148D goes on the stool nicely. Here's a few more pics with my Nikon so a bit better quality...

So this is a foot of a 2.5 year old TPE doll standing on her feet a few times? I know, just for a few minutes and in protective shoes. But she stood with all her weight on her feet. I'm impressed.

Yes I was impressed as well Tsall. I've had her standing several times and I guess the longest has been about an hour and its usually been in Doc Marten type boots with a cushion sole. Of course this particular tpe blend is not as soft as the newer blends so that probably helps? I can't help thinking that if I knew back in 2016 what I know now then that 148D bod would look as good as new (well not far off!), certainly Monique, my YL155D is looking in lovely condition and she's coming up for her 2nd birthday in a couple of months. I think that with any material once you learn it's strengths and weaknesses you can treat it accordingly.

Damn! That 148D body is nice... im seeing all these different bodies again lately and for some reason I find myself wanting to own them now where I didn't before.At least not as much. Anyways very hot!

Ha ha, Hi Zippy81, yes the 148D is a classic bod for sure. I'm planning a bit of a change for Elizabeth's look, she may go blonde for a while, not sure yet!

It gave me chills.

These are the times normally unseen.

Thanks EW I always enjoy your thoughtful comments. Yes I'm often moved to take a picture of one of my gals outside of a planned photoshoot just so I can share what I'm currently seeing. In this case I had just given Elizabeth a baby oil rub, she doesn't even have her wig on, but her body just looked lovely glistening like that, plus it struck me that this particular body will be 3 years old come September and it's still looking pretty fine!

After Elizabeth's cleaning and oiling yesterday it was time for a change of look and what a difference a wig makes! Here's Liz with a honey blonde short bob style which I think suits her lovely face...

The slight hint of blusher - and those lips, at first I thought they were uneven and you had missed some bits, but I think its that they are so shiny they are reflecting something!

Hi adelea, thanks again for stopping by and yes you are spot on, that lip gloss was very shiny, it's actually a nice shade and seems to work well with Liz. Heres a couple more shots from this morning...

The times I've tried to put gloss on it takes the lipstick off to a degree...maybe I'm doing something wrong. Her lipstick was a deeper color till I put the gloss on.
