Ladies and Gentlemen of the Forum,
I'll be leaving Saturday for a week, to attend my father's funeral. An interim moderator will hopefully be tending this forum in my absence.
Take care, all! See you in a week.

I appreciate your condolence. I have mixed feelings (of course) at this time but I'm glad his pain is over, and mine can be, too.
Take care, ttys ~

Ricardo, please accept my condolences. Losing a parent has got to be one of the most difficult experiences ever. My grandparents died two years ago, and sometimes I still dream that they are alive. Be sure to take good care of yourself okay? I will be sending good thoughts your way.

I am sorry for your loss, too ... especially that it seems to still "haunt" you ... maybe I'm not using the right word or using it in the right context, but I hope that at some point you find peace and closure, if you haven't had that yet.
Take care, mija , and I'll talk to you soon.

Hi Ricardo,
We talked on the phone a bunch, and I know that this has been something that you and your family has been forced to preparing for.
I hope that his passing was peaceful.
Please let me know if there's anything that I can do while you are gone.

I'm sorry for your loss, although I know that doesn't do anything to take the pain away. I wish you the best.

Gracias , DOLL-ISH-US ~
Yes, his passing was peaceful. He'd been sleeping almost constantly for the last week and a half, and passed in his sleep.
If you (or someone) would just keep an eye on the MD forum I'd appreciate it. I'm sure there won't be much to moderate there!
Gracias , red_dragon ~
Just knowing that people are thinking of me and my family and that there are people who CARE is a great joy and relief!
Talk to y'all when I get back ...
Hugz,
Ricardo
