I hope everything is going well and things are working smoothly, an update would make my day week month!

It's been quite a while on any update on either build. I have a lot of money invested in my 2 dolls. Progress would be wonderful!

If you've read my last post in group build 3, it'll catch up on my situation with my help.
On top of this I injured my elbow several weeks ago, leaving me with continuous numbness in the pinky and ring finger of my right / dominant hand.
While I can still feel and use my first, middle, and thumb, my strength and endurance are greatly compromised.

For Sara, these are the feet that Rosie did most of the work on.

After inserting the leg armature into the legs and stuffing.

And after finishing the shaping of one foot.

I've tried to get more work done that doesn't require hand sewing.
Here are the nails for the toes.

And the parts for her plush beaver

And the tail after stuffing.

Now all this doll needs is hand sewing to complete.

Peace,
Coyote9

Pinky is still a little numb but my strength and endurance are starting to return.

For Sara I've finished sewing her plush beaver together.

Finished the second foot and sewed on the toenails.

And have almost finished attaching the legs to the torso.

Finally, I've been in communication with a distributor for cobots (collaborative robots) about whether they could preform the ladder stitch and sew parts together.
The distributor is currently researching and is supposed to get back to me.
I'll keep everyone posted, as cobots might be the perfect solution to my labor problem.

Peace,
Coyote9

I hope they can help in speeding up the process of making your beautiful dolls!

It's good that your hand is getting better

Sara is looking better and better as the time goes on, and those cobots seem like a cool idea :)

I'm eager to see how the Cynder build is going, she's one of my favorite characters from the Spyro series.

I'm eager to see her done, a lifelong dream of mine fulfilled. Feels like a lifetime in itself just waiting.

I'm thinking of getting a Cynder for myself too, I would love to get her placed on the next build group if there is still space

Mine, well she's not exactly Cynder, but close enough. I won't get into details, that'd be a separate thread.
I'd warn you about the long wait, but waiting is half the fun!

Still waiting for a response from Universal Robots on wether their cobots could handle hand sewing operations. :|
I imagine somewhere in Japan, people in lab coats are contemplating how to get their robots to sew like I can.

Completing Sara, I've finished sewing the legs and tail to the torso.
And then attached the arms and sewed shut.

Next I've been working on clothes for her.
First I made a vest and skirt.

These are a polyester/spandex synthetic leather, lined with polyester suit lining.
This I some of the most rip / tear resistant SL that I have ever found.

Next, a pair of gloves.

And finally I've completed the upper and sole for a pair of boots.

I still need to make a pair of heels and a top band to complete.

I'll have her done in the next couple of days and be getting to Cynder (not Cynder) next.

Peace,
Coyote9
