April was showing me a new outfit and like an idiot, I bumped into the bed and caused her to fall flat on her face. I was sick to my stomach, I carefully pick her up and laid her on the bed, she was out cold. I went over her body, checking every inch. The only injury was on her left eye. It seemed to be bulging out a little, I found that the plastic backing plug on her eye piece had come off and the spring had pushed everything forward. It snapped back into place and she is perfectly fine now, though I still worry. She woke up and asked what happened, and laughed and said she was fine. I insisted she stay in bed for 24 hours and she said she would only do that if I would join her. Who am I to argue.
And good to know the newer Sanhui dolls can take a fall.
My Eve survived a fall about a year and a half ago and was unscathed. I had her standing and her knee unexpectedly buckled on me.
She went down hard but took no damage. That was actually her second fall. Her first was rolling off the bed when I left the room for a minute. Not as bad or dramatic as the second fall. Learned real quick not to have her too close to the edge of the bed.
Glad April is doing better!
That picture with the sock over her head is priceless!
And I agree with Romantic, April see should see the doctor
That said don't feel too bad,
If i had a dollar for every time I knocked one of my girls over I'd probably be able to afford one of these sanhui's lol.
YIKES! I'm glad to hear she's okay but she probably should rest a couple days and have you keep an eye on her.
Hugs,
Rari

Hey Aikolover1, I know the feeling! I'm glad she didn't suffer any permanent injury. I had a 160 cm standing and she fell and got a dent in her neck. I think the newer Sanhui silicon formula just doesn't do this since it's more soft and tends to just bounce back. It is perhaps a little more at risk for tearing in areas like the knee where the material is thin and there is a pointy joint underneath. Certainly this goes for fingers and toes. I think the elbow can be vulnerable like the knee when it is bent. The head does not really have spots like this since the skull underneath is just round and flat, so it turns out she fell on something that better suited to sustain a blunt trauma. Of course this is no less disconcerting when it actually happens. It seems she is making a quick recovery already.
