-princeoverit. One vendor name kept coming up as being great at helping customers walk through the process, Booty Call Dolls. So I decided I would work with them on this first purchase, and did.

Where did you get that reddish dress? It looks so good on you! But maybe it didn't stay on long after dinner
Happy 2w anniversary

Thanks everyone - so glad you liked the red dress! It's tough finding things I can wear 'cos I'm kinda "tiny" up top, so sometimes I scan the girls racks to see if there is anything mature looking. Emma - that's a Wal Mart find, kids size 6X and it fit perfect. Because my legs are longer than the average girl that size it also tends to make things even shorter, which Brian doesn't mind at all!

And don't forget.... tomorrow is Paella Day!

Re: The Life and Times of Shelby
Paella is very regional... you can use rabbit, fowl, seafood, pork... depending on the region, but the one constant is the rice. We made a Valenican style Paella with lots of seafood... there was tomato, saffron, sweet smoked paprika, shrimp, clams, chicken, chorizo, asparagus.... oh my god the way the saffron and sweet paprika smell when it is cooking is unbelievable!
Ok this is a "No Fair" shot... I was looking over at the phone when it rang and he sneaked in and took this one!

Following your adventures is both enjoyable and educational, Shelby! The paella looked delicious. I'm tempted to give it a try myself sometime.Shelby_W wrote:Today was Paella Day, and I got to learn how to make it. It's named both for the food, and for the pan it is cooked in - "La Paella". Kind of like a shallow, flat-bottomed Wok!

Althoug, to me the paella pan looks like a frying pan
But I can't tell the difference from a dress and a tunic so...

Yeah, kinda like a frying pan, but thinner. It's cool how you decide how much to make, too... you don't just add more ingredients to a big pan... each Paella pan is sized for a certain number of people to make sure that all the rice mixture has even contact with the bottom of the pan, and once everything is in the pan you don't stir it at all. The "crust" that develops on the bottom is considered a tasty delicacy for everyone to share at the end of the meal.
Oh - I love tunics! They make such great mini dresses!
