Wendy's unboxing (SM150L)

Hi all,

Wanted to share some factory and unboxing photos of my new SM150L. Two weeks ago I contacted Star regarding a customer cancelled doll she had for sale. Definitely had been eyeing this one, so the timing seemed perfect to take the plunge. After a brief chat, Star upsold me for a incredibly awesome price to a new custom standing model. I definitely liked the model style they used on their own site since I reminded me a bit of one of my fave porn stars from back in the day, Wendy Whoppers... hence the name! Glad I decided to upgrade.

So about 6 days ago, Star sent me some factory photos for me to confirm everything and man, did they look great! Was excited it all turned out so well. Now to just wait for shipping.








This is my first doll so I wasn't sure on how long the wait would be, but here it is less than two weeks later and 6 days after I gave the thumbs up. This big ol' box arrived on my doorstep a day early! Box weighed in around 79 lbs., lil heavy but manageable.



Inside the box there was ample padding for Wendy's voyage. I really liked the nice touch of wrapping the body in a super soft white blanket. Will be giving it a wash and using it as a throw perhaps. Under that blanket you can definitely make out the outline of those super huge tits!



Definitely like opening a present on Christmas day. Peeling back the blanket and being greeted by the most amazing set of ta-tas certainly put a smile on my face. What can I say? I like huge tits on sticks?! These are AMAZING!



Along with the doll, a small care kit was provided as well. It contained a nightie & thong set, comb, pair of white gloves, head bolts, irrigator, and what seems to be a stocking? Not sure what that is for...





The head and wig were wrapped seperately and have to say that the factory photos and even the website photos don't do it justice. Absolutely amazing... This is head #56 aka Monroe. I'm sure you noticed the beauty mark on the left cheek.



That's all for now, currently Wendy has been scrubbed thoroughly and is taking a nice mineral oil soak at the moment. Been reading up on care and maintenance here on TDF and there's so much great information to take in. Hope to post some more photos in a few days once she's ready to come out and play!

Great review of your doll buying experience with SM! I think the decision to go with standing feet was wise. If you don't have a foot fetish I just don't see a good argument to go with non standing feet.

I also get what you are saying about how much more beautiful the dolls are in person compared to the photos. I was blown away with my first doll too.

It's been a busy couple of days getting Wendy all prepped, some lessons learned in the process. Mainly, being extra careful with Mineral oil and not reusing my cleaning towels prior to washing them. Seems I've removed some of the nipple, vagina and lipstick color when cleaning or from my first time playing around, not sure. Other users here have used the same lubricant I used (Paloqueth) without issue, so I'm not entirely sure. Most likely the mineral oil residue from my cleaning towels? You can see the discoloration in the pic below. Not really concerned since I've read there are options to correct this, chalking it up to in-experience. I'll survive.

Also, I need to constantly remind myself she's here. I turn around or go into the closet where she is and freak out that someone's in my place besides me. It's kind of funny and I'm sure I'll get used to it soon. Huge tittied women are always welcome.

Did some measurements for bra size and shoe size. The stats from SMDoll are exact... which is making shopping difficult. A 19" band size for a 38" bust is unheard of, so I guess I'll be sticking with One Size or lace-up options for now. Shoes also seem to just miss the mark for a size 4 in womens US sizes, it's 19.5" so I may just cross my fingers they fit. Havent shopped for women's clothes in awhile but we are in the fantasy range so it's definitely labor intensive to find items that will fit.

All things aside, man... what a doll! The eyes (and tits) really stand out and I'm extremely happy I got her. Hope to add more info about my learning experiences over the next few weeks as Wendy gets acclimated to her new home. Til then!

If you think it's hard to find something for a 19" waist, try 16".
It's a labour alright, however a labour of love. I have not regretting getting my Stormi for a second.
Your doll looks great and can't wait to see what you do find for clothes.

Nice unboxing thread Shamrock and the pics are awesome! I too just purchased an SM doll and can't wait for her to arrive. As a first time doll owner I'm feeling overwhelmed by all the info on this site about how to maintain our investments. I've taken it all in and for now will just follow The Newlywed Guide by BCD until I get comfortable in creating my own weekly/monthly regime (basically all I can expect to do at this point). Looking forward to seeing more of her with different outfits that you found to fit and well as an update regarding your first week or months of having her in your life. Congrats!
