A few quick shots before heading off to work- just to show the bolt caps I use for the bolts on Sarah's standing feet. If the bolt caps fit slightly loose, wind some saran wraps around the bolts and that'll insure a tight fit. This way the bolts won't keep tearing up shoes, socks and stockings.

BTW, in the photos you posted above. Sarah's legs are showing a bit and honestly, they don't look that heavy at all. Yeah, Honestly I think the foam/TEP or foam/silicone hybrid is one of the best solutions, and the PVC skeleton too. Cause in the end, as long as the first inch of skin is "life like" what's underneath it doesn't matter quite as much.
As long as there's no separation between the layers in the long run.
