XYcolo 153/SB order process, unboxing, review and pictures

This topic will contain my experiences with XYcolo and their 153/SB doll. I ordered her at Dollstudio on the 30th of September. I've ordered from Sandro before and it was a great experience and he answered lots of questions for me before I finally hit the order button. Payment was completed on the 1st of October, right in time for the Chinese holiday to start haha. Had to wait another week for the order to be processed, but that makes sense since my timing couldn't be much worse!

My configuration:

Finger nails: Natural (clear)
Toe nails: Natural (clear)
Vagina and vulva: Vagina built-in (fixed)
Pubic hair style: No pubic hair (shaven)
Anus: Anus built-in (fixed)
Add-ons: Standing support (metal bar and screw)

I decided to go for an organic silicone head, since it is mostly for looks, but I wanted her body to be soft for actual use. Implanted eyelashes and eyebrows should look very realistic too, so added those as well. I asked Sandro if the organic silicone hinged skeleton was possible with a platinum silicone body, since it didn't appear as a straight up option on his website. I hope other people realize this is an actual option because I read in several other topics that it's a popular request!

Sandro also did some research for me regarding the mouths of the dolls. I want to have a mouth that can open, for enhanced kissing experience.

He found that only Vala, Rae and Nao have a kissable little open mouth, and only Yana CE (closed eyes) has oral capabilities. I got lucky with this, since Nao ended up being one of my favourite heads.

So at the moment of writing, the wait has begun and writing this topic is my way of dealing with the anticipation. I ordered lots of cute and sexy outfits already, which I will happily show off once she arrives. I will follow up on this topic with the unboxing process, initial review, and plenty of photoshoots.

To close off the first part of this topic, I want to give a big thanks to Sandro. He has been a huge help in getting the information I wanted to have before taking the plunge. He always provides accurate answers, and really thinks along with you on possible choices.

Congratulations! It will be nice to have another 153/SB on the forum. My Nina has a very similar set of options and I have been very happy with her. I especially like the combination of the soft platinum body with the high visual realism of the organic silicone face. I can't wait to see some pictures of her after she arrives.

Good to hear you are very happy with her. Initially I wanted to go for the 163/SB but I like the body of the 153 more and Nao is such a cute head, I couldn't say no to her! My ZO-160/B has a weak hip/left leg so I was looking for a similarly sized doll. I really miss posing my doll and do exciting positions and photoshoots, and with that hinged skeleton it should be easy enough! When factory pics are in I will share them as soon as possible ^^

I saw a pretty similar configuration got shipped to Germany today. The only difference was the eye colour, wig, pubic hair, standing feet and skin tone. Looked so amazing so I can't wait to see my girl soon!

It's been 5 weeks since the factory photos were sent.
On the 24th of October she got shipped and the expected transit time was ~30 days for October shipments, while it's ~40 days for more recent ones. Sandro has been very informative of the process and told me about the possible delays due to lockdowns. If nothing major happens (such as a more tight lockdown), the UPS tracker should update this coming week sometime and I can probably expect her either at the end of next week (if I'm very lucky, that is) or sometime during the week after. Still, political choices on lockdowns and perhaps UPS scheduling changes might slow things down and add another week or two...

In the meantime, I've been buying lots of cute and sexy outfits for Nao (I really like this name so I want to keep it for her). I will post these on my twitter (https://twitter.com/love_dollz) and add previews of the sets here.

Doll has cleared customs now and is only 1 border crossing away (within EU) from arriving at my place!

Unboxing time

She has arrived! But it wasn't easy, UPS tracking can surely use some upgrades. Status was on 'Delay' for 2 days, telling me to check 'tomorrow' for delivery time. Good thing I work from home and was able to collect her at my door today.
Anyway, enough ranting about UPS, I'm not the first to do this and I won't be the last. At least they delivered her in a fine state! So here we go, the unboxing:

The box had a few minor bumps and rough edges but no real perforations.

As you can see, there's a whole lot of safety included. Sleeping bag, air wrap, different kinds of foam wraps and foam bits. Reinforcement for the sides of the box. Superb job from XYcolo! The moment I opened the box and the top layer of foam, I knew she was alright.

No damages on her skin and all the joins in her body seemed to work fine. They are still a little tight but not so much that it becomes a chore to move them. Perfect for arrival, in my opinion, as they will only get more loose over time. I love the feel of her boobs, incredibly realistic and soft, while her nipples feel more perky and solid.

Her articulated fingers are unharmed. There are some rougher edges (3 or 4 little 'bubbles') on the seams of the fingers that I might want to smoothen out somehow at some point, but besides that they're in great condition and look very realistic.

Her feet are incredible. I'm not a feet guy, but these feet are a work of art. A lot of detail to be found there!

Bottom of her feet. The standing plate can be rotated around, I assume that's how we can take it off. It doesn't poke into her soles so I might leave them on for photoshoots if they don't ruin socks/stockings. Will have to experiment...

this was a bit scary! I saw the neck plate was disformed at one side! But with a simple tool I managed tobend it back into place (or at least, close enough). It's not broken and doesn't seem to affect the fit of her head so I don't mind this. I guess I got lucky it wasn't any worse than this.

Her head fits nicely. There is a more visible seam in the back on her neck but hair will cover that area. Will show in a another post later. Haven't worked with this kind of neck system before as my Z-One has to be screwed on. Is it just a matter of pushing down or so I need to do anything else? By just pushing down, her head seems to be quite well stuck to the body already but please let me know if I'm missing something here!

Lastly, the wig and a complementary set of underwear. Next post I will show her with these one. This now wraps up the unboxing part.

Very happy with the way XYcolo delivered her. She has no lasting damages, the neck plate is the only little 'damage' but thankfully it's not visible and can be fixed even better with the right tools. First impressions are important, and so far she has exceeded my expectations.

The wig and underwear is from XYcolo, fits nicely and looks cute. These thinker knee high socks also work nicely even with her standing metal bar under her feet. Still need to experiment with thinner socks/tights before I make up my mind whether they cause harm to socks or not. At least the thicker ones work fine.

Since her head is 'organic' silicone, it's more solid. It definitely feels that way, and at first I was afraid this would impact the kissing experience. I went for the Nao head because it's one of the few heads that have an open cavity that can be used for kissing. Her lips are quite solid as well, but once you 'dig in' with tongue and all, it feels incredibly realistic. Your tongue will feel a sensation of being sucked on, and if you back off, you really need to pull your tongue out with a little force because she really doesn't want to let you go. All my worries were gone after I experienced that, and it once again exceeded my expectations. Compared to my Z-One, which has lips that I'd call 'too soft to be realistic', these lips are an incredible experience for French kissing, or anything that involves your tongue.

A short but needed part about her implanted eyelashes and eyebrows. I wasn't sure if these upgrades were worth it, but from close up it really adds to the realism. Since the organic silicone version already had more detail, it would be a waste to bring down the realism by using the typical glued on eyelashes and painted eyebrows. Definitely a good choice, worth the money for sure, they did a splendid job on these!

Thanks Monica! It's been 2 months since I placed the order. Honestly, with the world and the state it is in, I'm glad and relieved it didn't take any longer. XYcolo finished her within a week (2 weeks in real time but the first week was Chinese holiday so that doesn't count) and managed to get her shipped within another week! UPS being UPS, I'm just glad she arrived without damages and other complications.
I'm pretty sure I've given Sandro some grey hairs, I asked him so many questions but he always came through. Huge thanks to him as always, he's the best!

Appreciate the video! Looks like I did it the right way but I'm happy to be certain about it now!
