Aspen makes it home in perfect condition

Post by irohs »

I'm delighted to announce that Aspen has made it home safe to me in Washington via UPS without any issues. I don't think customs opened the package at all.

The order was finalized on Jan 3rd and I received her today on the 29th, I ordered through BCD. Aspen is a 153LB in OS with Vala style head.

This is the condition of the box:

And some of the contents:

And her head was completely fine:

Aspen is my 5th doll, I've had silicone and TPE dolls before and I thought I was never going to get another, they'd all been disappointing for various reasons. I took a chance with Xycolo because this company seemed to address my concerns collectively better than any other:
  • Weak material,
    High maintenance,
    Heavy weight,
    Offensive chemical residue,
    Awkward handling,
    Poor joints/range of motion,
    Lack of realism,
    Impermanence of makeup
The body is on the firmer side but I like it, she's easy to handle and the realism is still there. Joints seem well adjusted so far but I haven't tested all of them. The texture of the skin is fantastic to look at and feel, no tackiness! but yeah as someone pointed out before, it's not as thrilling to soap this skin in the shower as TPE.

SOFTNESS of lady parts - I do miss the softer-ness of the TPE breasts, Aspen's feel firmer but not hard, a bit of hollowness to them to make them fun to squeeze. I do wish the bum was more squeezable, I asked for such but still room for improvement here.

I'm giving her body an 'A' grade overall, I'm so fine with the trade-offs because she's so stunning and fun to grapple with. I'd say she's still a good cuddle/bed partner even with OS flesh. Her LHP is very convincing and her anus is a work of art

Aspen is on the vivacious side, she's really not a shy girl. Here she is:

:D Will do! She is resting right now after the long journey, also I need to get her some clothes! I didn’t even order any because I wasn’t even sure I’d want to keep her. I will go shopping now, I think it will be easier to find her clothing than any of the previous dolls on account of her more believable body shape.

And to answer the tilt lens question, no it’s not a tilt lens, the blurring was added after but otherwise there is no other editing done.

Nice lady, Ihros!
Damn good pictures.
A wee bit it a shame she has this seem line on her arm.
I hope you can find a way to "scrape" it off a little.

Xycolo is new to me. Take of your new improved lady!
Cheers!

Can't scrape it off. There is a layer of paint on top of the silicone. Any scraping when removing the seam will expose the underlying layer of unpainted silicone. Think like this. If the factory can't do something, then the buyer has even less of a chance.

The seams come down to the accuracy of the mold. For every doll, the mold has to be split open and then refitted for the next doll. Most molds are made of some sort of resin with fiber cloth. This type of mold will flex under the weight of the silicone being poured into it.

Accurate and rigid molds are extremely difficult to make, weigh a ton and are very expensive.

Think of a chunk of solid milled billet of metal large enough to house a doll. You will have to ask Elon's rocket factory to mill such a mold and will need a forklift to manipulate it.

Can it be done? Yes, yes it can. The question is how much are you prepared to spend on a doll.

Those seam lines are pretty distracting... I mean a pretty mediocre job imo. At 2500$ maybe... but if you start upgrading to the organic pro line, this better not be the quality >.< The inner thighs seems pretty good though.

Aspen looks very lovely. The Vala head looks good on the 153, her proportions look very natural. Enjoy your honeymoon and congratulations on you new companion.

Hey thanks folks, it’s been many years of trials with other dolls but this does in fact finally feel like a honeymoon. What a relief. She’s still a virgin so there’s still a big test coming.

Yes it’s true the seam lines on the arms are more pronounced than anywhere else but I’m starting to filter them out gradually.
