Elmer's Stix-All High Tech Adhesive

After extensively search the forum, I saw realdoll mentioned this glue to be used on silicone doll.
Had anyone tried it?
Also, how do you remove it?

I also like to ask does it work on TPE as well?
Elmer's website is painful to browse.

I have not used that at all... I've only used what the manufacturers recommend and that is Sil-poxy for Platinum Silicone as far as TPE the recommended is a solvent which will melt the TPE together. You can also use a soldering iron.

With that said it would be wise if you checked with the manufacturer of your doll before proceeding...

Thanks. Though i was looking for non-permanent attachment. The ones most manufacturer offer are mostly for repairs.

You might want to let us know what you want a non-permanent attachment for so we could help you better. I was under the impression you were looking for a glue so that you could do a repair.

For nails, toenails, and eyelashes you can just use cyanoacrylate. As to the wig, you can use a wig cap or wig band which wraps around the head and keeps the wig in place rather than just putting the wig on the doll. Wig caps are designed to keep the wig from moving around.

To be more specific, here is my first problem:
you see the manufacturer glued the toe nails in the red circle backwards.

I think I can either take them off, and glue again;
or, just buy a whole set of artistic toenails and glue them over existing nails.

I was hoping I could remove the new nails, if I want to get different ones some day.

So for tpe..to attach nails and brows an adhesive based product is used, but to rejoin tpe you need a cohesive bonding agent to effect a chemical cohesive bond.

Just thought I would explain there is a difference.
