A few drops of glue should make it, just be sure it's compatible with vinyl.
It's a Petit Soft/Fanta right ?

yep it's a fanta doll

The problem with just using glue is that the gap will remain and the glue will have no effect...

I see what the problem is now, you need some material to fill this gap and
I don't think silicone will stick to it. Liquid vinyl then ?

Did you buy the doll from Tabo ?
He probably knows a solution.

PS: i edited the title of your thread, you'll probably get more answers this way.

I think you need a power glue that works on vinyl, different surfaces require different glue.

The problem with all the vinyl glues i know of is that they are kind of hard.
The original seam looks a bit like a weld, hot or ultrasonic.
Is the material to stiff to close the gap.

Are you shure silicone does not work because this would be my best bet because it is inert. If it does not stick it should peel right of.
The only material that i know of that can't be glued with silicon is PE.
Even this will hold up for quite some time if the area is big enough.

These PVC glues all have some sort of solvent in them. Could be dangerous depending on the thicknes of the material.

I HAVE to repair Angies head before it is playtime again.
Thinking about the same problem you will have.. color match.

It's a known issue on these dolls, it also happens to the arms unfortunately.
Just as Blaster suggested, i would try to fill the gap with silicone first and see what happens.
You'll still be able to remove it if it doesn't work.

well as a professional wood worker i know they make silicone that can be color matched to products including your dolls skin get a color sample book they make small ones for cheap or free and match her up and buy the right color of silicone ,wow easy!

the hardest part is finding a paint store in the area to make the match if you cant find one right away you could call some of the local cabinet shops that are huge and they could tell you whom they use!
in memory of my
sweet killing machine
