Maybe you have some suggestions how to prevent them from breaking?
And what should be done if they break?

Buy your girl some long gloves that go all the way up the arm. Some formal wear places have them. I bought a pair for my Lara doll, and she's a body 2. I got her a medium size glove. They go all the way up the arm close to the arm pit.
If your girl has the new flat wires, break out should be nonexistent on her fingers. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif" />
Are you sure she's in the medium skin tone? She looks tan. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif" />

Those are the type of gloves that she will need.

Pamela is sweet tan or medium. I hope you get her home soon.
The fingers and hands have been my greatest concern with Leyna too. I get really nervous when I try and move her around too much. The last shoot in her album required some chancey manuvering. I've tried several different methods including the pillow in the lap, and I still get some bending with each move. The best luck I had was to extend both arms out straight when I pick her up to carry her with the arm closest to me behind my neck. Today when I took her off the hanger I put my left arm around her waste, unhooked her with my right hand, hugged her tight from her right side as I stepped back to the bed and then we sat down with her landing half on my lap and half off. I kissed her on the cheek and layed her back on the bed. Her hands and fingers survived the move! I was laughing my butt off! Not a very romantic moment for sure.
Grins.

Yup, just strap a couple of EverLasts on her, and those fingers will be nice 'n safe.
Dressing her will be a bitch, and you can forget handjobs.....hmmmm....maybe not my best idea....time for bed.

Plus it's something you have on hand. (no pun intended) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif" />

BTW, her skin tone is really medium. I wondered myself when Pamela arrived at my home. But Harleyknight got some examples of Abyss which show the difference between the different skin tones. Maybe Abyss changed the color over the years?
Her new photoshot will be available at the end of the week. Check out her website from time to time.

Pamela looks more tanned in the photo than my Samantha who is tanned, it is amazing how much difference photo's can make. Glad she is returning to you soon. Best wishes. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif" />

I was thinking about dolls, and had an idea.
Ihstaria picked up the idea... Maybe my idea... web page , will lead to easyer servicing your doll when it needs difficult repairs in future... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif" /> .
If succeeds it will save you some weeks and some Euro's <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif" /> probably.

1. The transportation costs are much cheaper, but the creator wanted a lot of money for his work (about 50 Euro per hour). Matt did this job for free.
2. The creator didn't really know how to fix the fingers. He couldn't guarantee me that the beauty of my doll would be fully restored.
That's why I decided to send Pamela back to Abyss. Nevertheless the creator is a skillfull mechanic and I'll contact him, if I'll have further problems with my doll.

Nice to hear about the good service Matt provided.
I don't know about wat happens with the idea I had. Ishtaria saw something good in it, and is thinking about working it out as far as I know.
But we never know how such thinks work out.
I understand Creator's point that he asks an amount money for it *he hasn't sold the doll so he hasn't got anything for it*. But if this thing is set up more general, then the opposite will happen too *service for an Andy doll in America by e.g. Matt*. Even some knowledge/information interchange between the manufacturers will then happen how to solve problems like these.
H'mm let's see wat happens at the end... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif" /> .
BTW...Nice you have your Palmela back, I've seen the new pics in your album.
