Girlfriends are for guys who haven't found the right doll yet.
I feel much better now that I've given up hope.

Also (before anyone else can say it), I guess with your Carly upgrade skills the 'thighs' the limit.

Thanks for the fantastic photos!
Thanks, I've still got Tilly to do, I'll tweak the design to make it more streamlined in the shin and waist.samara78 wrote:She looks amazing. The range of motion is really good.

Mate, I couldn't even sew 2 years ago, I never dreamed I would even open her up.Stewie studmuffin wrote:Fantastic work! You are certainly braver than I am to attempt something like that. But she now looks better than ever.
Yep, hopefully beyond too.Hydra12345 wrote:Fantastic job on Carly's leg work. Kinda wish the tools to fix, update, or redesign were more available for DIY or doll enthusiasts. Wouldn't mind the possibility of altering a few small things to make for a more human interaction.

I only used a drill, a hacksaw, a couple of files, sand paper and a wood rasp, materials were a broom handle, under 6 feet of 3mm x 25mm flat steel, a 12in length 10mm threaded rod and a few bolts and nuts, no machining no welding not even a jig to center the drill, nothing is perfectly measured or straight, but nobody sees it and it works fine.

Intimacy is incredibly different, so much more control and realism.

VERY good work. Goes to show you can do a lot with only some basic tools if you just put your mind to it!

It seems to have given her a more natural looking figure during posed positions, see what you think.

Re: Carly's new skeleton
I think the most impressive part is the cost and robust nature being low tech.
I could bang out half a dozen of these for around $100.00, trouble is, it needs to be hand made, so production level would take a few people, wages etc, then up goes the cost x $5 or $10.
