Ive been seeing people trying different ways to cover up the bolts to make them not rub away at clothing and tpe around them, i had an idea while walking around my local wickes (diy store) bolt caps !
I know the colours are not great buy anyone with a 3d printer can print of colours that match the doll skin tone.
These are good ideas that protect the doll and the floor as well. I've also adapted furniture moving pads like "moving Man" to fit under the doll's foot.

Has anyone tried this ?
Hey hangman, I have done exactly that with member ILoveCoffee's help!
They are printed in a flesh colored ABS plastic. Designed for the typcial M6 button head foot screws (approx. 10mm screw head diam.).

Just PM me if you want more info.
What a fantastic idea, and no, they wouldn't affect standing ability at all (depending on what's chosen to cover the bolts). This is a brilliant idea! I've alot of tile, that both my floor and doll's feet bolts will benefit from this idea. My hat's off to you!
Thank you!!

TDF member Billiam could probably answer the stability question if he's still around.
I don't have a TPE doll myself.
The caps I make are designed to swivel a little on the screws so the flat bottom stays flat on the floor with different foot positions.

That looks nice what i was thinking, is there a way to take the bolts out to put something like this
I think MF caps work great in fact I think they make the feet more stable especially when wearing shoes. I've gotten my doll to stand up on her own for a few seconds with them and recently got her stand up in some high heel pumps with assistance.
I would definitely recommend them for anyone with standing feet option. Until some Manufacture comes up with a standing feet option that doesn't use the screw bolts I think this is the only way to go.

False eyebrows.
hangman2020 wrote:that is a shame would be nice if the factor could add rubber caps to the bolts before shipping.
The caps need to be made from a tough but resilient material.
Rubber would be damaged from the pressure with the first standing. ABS plastic works well - nylon would also be a good material.
