Taller Spinner
Taller Spinner
She’s 4’8”/142 cm.
We have a standing skeleton for her. Her mold is made.
All we have to do is cast in silicone.
We’re focused on lots of projects right now, so I will not be casting her on “spec”... we’ll only cast her if someone orders her. $4000.
She’s more of a stylized/ art doll piece.
She’ll probably weigh 60 lbs or just under. Any of our Spinner heads will fit this body.
Thanks.

Re: Taller Spinner
Was this the original sculpt for the Standing Spinner... before you made 2.0?
I remember you saying they didn’t want to make her with that large curve in her back... so you remade her as the 2.0 version with a straighter and more upright posture...
Yes, this is very stylized... maybe would work well as a cosplay / fantasy type doll

Re: Taller Spinner
I just felt like I needed to be less constrained by the parameters of the normal love doll.
Felt like doing something more fun.
We made the mold and then put it aside it as we
did not have the “ standing” capacity at that time. I got a bit ahead of myself!

Re: Taller Spinner
With that slim, almost skinny body, she could be taken for a Dirdir in the SF classic "Planet of Adventure" by Jack Vance.

All depends on which direction you want to go.
We’ll see if she ever gets cast...
Would be a pleasure to see....

Re: Taller Spinner
Old Cello Shelby aka The BOSS could be 4 inches taller???
I'm going to have to sit down and talk with her about this.
This may bring her out of retirement.
The sculpt looks GREAT!

Re: Taller Spinner
But, she just lays in limbo.
I question the market for higher priced silicone dolls.
It is probably not worth the molding cost to create her.
The doll world has been taken over by lower priced dolls.
One of our sales points was that we use the highest quality platinum cure silicone that is available. Now, it doesn’t seem to matter.
So, that may be a doll that never happens. We’ll see.

Re: Taller Spinner
We’ve always gone by the “ make it, and they will come” philosophy.
Do you think I would put my blood, sweat , and tears into a sculpt and not mold it and cast it?
No.
It’ll come into being.
Sara and I talked all about it today.
We’re surging forward into showing our unique work.
For those who want ...whatever...there are plenty of options.
But for those who would like something special, I believe that is what we offer.
I was reading on this forum yesterday from a fellow who recently received one of our tpe dolls.( Island Girl)... and he was adamant that it was the best tpe doll on the market.
Those are not my words...but his.
Wonderful to hear.
And he backed it up with why...
His doll has an upgraded skeleton with added joints in her neck, back and shoulders, and jointed wrists.
Wtf
And the sculpt is crazy nice...detail in hands and feet like no other.
We showed pics of it to an owner of one of the biggest strip clubs in DC yesterday, and he wanted to hire her! Seriously. We had to convince him that it was a doll.
So,
If the world has thrown itself into tpe...that’s Fine. We rock in that world.
Will we still make silicone versions?..of course. We know that market has shrunk...but, as artists we still want to create our best work.
So,
As I finish up a new celebrity head...knock yourselves out with ordering dolls. We’re happy to offer you our own version.
Thanks for the positive input.
We’re happy to oblige.
