Allen wrench?phil/slot head? torx drive? etc. If so what size, if can't find size, just need name mostly, ill find something close to it.

They should be the same for most doll brands? for whichever tool.

Allen key is mostly used on the quick head connector.
There is no phil/slot/or torque on any of my dolls.
Chinese dolls use metric size.
It would help a little describing a little more on what you want to do.
14 mm is ok for AS and JY doll.... just get a metric kit socket...but then,,, I do not know what you want to do

and often times the nuts are welded to the bolt shank so figure on grinding the weld loose.
Going downtown. Gonna see my gal. Gonna sing her a song. I'm gonna show her my ding dong! C&C

Aww that sounds troublesome, wanted to tighten the hand of my yl doll, one of them wobbles.

Probably tighten arms, upper and middle on my zone, which are loose but since its silicone, should be easier for me to cut open compared to finding tpe issue.

I do have most tool sets.

Hard to say how the hand is attached. I was thinking nuts & bolts for main skeleton since you didn't specify.
Just a basic Metric socket, wrench and Allen drive set should do. These are Chinese Made skeletons, not WW2 Nazi/ Alien tech engineering!

That's correct.
Needed that for my ORdoll. But bolt and nut were both welded.

Thanks, that's good to know since my wife sold my Nazi kinkletroper drive set at our last garage sale for $5.00!

I have WM and the nuts were welded, but using a socket wrench I was able to get the weld to break. Just takes a bit of force. Which isn't easy when the wrist is flopping around. LOL.
The Allen wrench also works. Just gotta be careful not to strip out the bolt hole. Make sure it is firmly in place and tap with a hammer.
Good luck.
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice.
In practice, there is.

ANy idea if you can just add lock nut of some sort to lock in place? if they are nuts I probably need to buy once I find out.

The bolt shaft isn't long enough to add a lock nut. You could add thread lock, but I believe that is made of vinyl and you don't want vinyl in contact with TPE. Just tighten as needed. If it loosens up, you can just make another small incision and re-tighten.

Check out this post. It will give you an idea of what to expect:
