Doll dressing, head and hair
Also, do you order different heads or wigs? From my point of view, buying different wigs and possibly eyes can already give you an extensive variety of combinations instead of buying the more expensive heads. What do you think about that? (I know head #8 is superior but it is just much more expensive...)
Thanks and looking for advice!

Re: Doll dressing, head and hair
I usually have nude stockings on under black ones just to be on the safe side.
Always wash clothes a few times before going on your doll. Or at least soak them in hot water for a bit to see if color bleeds.
Don't leave her in darker stuff too long.
In almost 4 years I had a clothing stain once. It went away on its own in about 2 weeks.
I got my lady with a few different eye colors. I like to do 2 different colors at once. I go to a beauty supply/wig shop for her wigs.
They make adjustable wigs size wise.
Human hair wigs are very nice. Some synthetic wigs are too.
I never got another head for her. I can create enough different looks with wigs and makeup.
She has head #2.
What model are you getting?

I have my doll for a month now and already have buyed several dresses I was careful and have washed all pieces of it once. But i had never stains until yet (also not on dark red/blue).giantcapybara wrote:Do you guys have any suggestions on dressing the doll? For the things she's been wearing the most time (panties/socks/stockings), I've choosed light-colored variants (white, light-gray, rose).
I have already 5 wigs (from blonde to black) and it makes fun to play with them. This changes the character of the doll and also the age, in my opinion. I have also a second set of eyes, but i have never exchanged them. I don't know how - I'm a little afraid to tear something on the eyes.

Re: Doll dressing, head and hair
Haven't seen them. The Sanhui wigs I got wth my lady lasted awhile. 20 bucks isn't bad but you get what you pay for. I bought a wig for 45 bucks at a wigshop at least 3 years ago and it can still be worn and looks good.giantcapybara wrote:I'm getting a 158. Haven't fully decided on the head yet but maybe #7 or #14 (again #8 is too expensive) but I guess the wig and eyes do make a difference here. What do you think about the 20 dollar wigs and eyes on the official website?
As for eyes, I don't know. See if they will give a couple sets of different colors when you order her.
Wish they had the 158 back in 2016. Love that body....

After 2016, they started putting different eyes in them than what I have.
Eve's eyes are small and flat, not from factory. The factory eyes from that era were big and flat. You couldn't pose/move them at all.I have cotton balls stuffed behind Eve's eyes to make them moveable.

Thanks for the answer Ah, ok - this is different then. The back side of the new eye is in a round metal case with 24mm diamerter and a flat bottom. I think, silicon is strechy enough, to put that in. But this is not a job for every day Maybe, the make-up/wimpers could be also damaged over time...gonestill77 wrote: Sorry, I can't answer that.

I have the same issue, and have asked Mike to provide a video on how to change the eyes.lars77 wrote:Thanks for the answer Ah, ok - this is different then. I will be sure to post the video on TDF when I receive it.

Re: Doll dressing, head and hair
You can use powder makeup on silicone. It is temporary unless you make your own silicone paint for permanent application. You basically mix the powder makeup with silicone used for repair. There is a lot more to it than that but that is the basic premise.giantcapybara wrote:Is it true that, unlike TPE, you cannot really go the makeup for the doll by yourself? I heard that you can use normal makeups for women on a TPE doll but I wonder if it is different for silicone dolls.
My ladies black lips were temporary for about a year before I decided to do it permanent. Also did permanent vagina paint on her as well. I use this makeup. It came with my doll but I have seen it in stores.
