140D vs 157B

After owning a 166C for the past year, I’m looking for a smaller doll as the 166C is difficult for me to move around and fully enjoy. I’m really leaning towards the 157B, but the 140D has caught my eye as she is lighter and lower priced. I’ve read some reviews from folks thinking the 140D was too short. I was wondering if anyone on here has had experience with both. Thanks in advance.

I briefly owned a 166C myself as well. Although the height was perfect, it was my first doll and I wasn't quite prepared to deal with the weight. I sold it and waited about a year and ended up getting a 157b. The 157b is pretty petite, and several lbs lighter than the 166c. I don't really have any issue moving it, and it "feels" easier to move than the 166c. Hope this helps!

I would recommend the 140D cup, on the basis there is a significant weight difference between this and the 166c, but not that much between the 166c and the 157b.

You migth also take into concideration, that the leg length of the 166cm and the 157cm are the same. At least thats what all the vendors have on there sites.

I have a 157b, and HAD a 140d. Once i got more normal height dolls, the 140 was too short for me. Plus the body had some scars from use. I ended up replacing that 140d body with an OR156b. Same head, but i like her much better now. Between the two, I'd definitely say 157b. The weight is very manageable. I also have a WM156c, Piper 150f, and Piper 150b. The 157b feels to me to be the lightest of all of them.
