Are some WM heads available only with the purchase of a body

I don't currently have the space for a full doll, but i want to get started in the hobby.
I'm figuring on starting with a head so that it will not go to waste when i eventually get the full doll (i'm planning to first get a kimber and then work up to a WM).
when i look on the WM site, i notice that some of the heads i want (specifically the 266, 273, and 368), are listed when they are a part of dolls but are *not* listed on the heads-only page.
does that mean that you can only get these heads when buying a full doll, or can you still buy them individually?

Your vendor of choice should be able to order you any head you choose.

The official WM site consistently lags behind the release of new products, sometimes by months. Vendor sites are always the best route for checking out the full range of options. A good point to bear in mind when choosing heads is that while all WM heads use the same M16 connector and it is possible to attach any WM head to any WM body not all combinations look good in practice. Small head sizes look very wrong on the larger proportioned bodies and vice-versa. A good vendor will be able to give you detailed advice.

I had gotten so much into the mindset of buying direct that i didn't even consider vendors.
do you guys have any recommendations for reputable US-based vendors for WM doll?

Better than US based, we are in China working directly with the factory.

We do free customisations for all the WM heads, so you can choose from a wide range of different oral textures, makeup, jewelry, eyes, eye veins premium wigs, tongues, teeth etc and we have rotating videos of many of the heads.

The heads should be free to choose, depends a lot on manufacturer though. We do can do it, altough it takes some persuasion.

So, I pulled the trigger and bought a WM head.
After comparing some of the TDF-approved vendors, I ultimately bought a #273 head from Real Love Sex Dolls with the accompanying accessories as well as a spare set of eyes.
I got the email that it's in production at the factory, and it should arrive in a few weeks.
