I did end up buying the beautiful blue doll! Cassy from JC Doll has been very helpful. The factory initially produced the incorrect head, and there was also a discolouration where the blue dye had not been mixed completely - both these issues were fixed immediately, no questions asked. Waiting on a (hopefully) pre-xmas delivery now.
