Welcome Duke, my story is similar to yours. Sexual experience at a very young age, not a great childhood. Throughout my 20's I also sought validation from women. Pleasing them, getting them to want me, was the only thing that made me feel good about myself, when it came to my sexuality and sexual confidence.

In my 20's, I didn't have a lot of long relationships either (3 months was my longest for a long time). But, a lot of short ones, a lot of affairs. I enjoyed it though. I wanted a serious relationship, just not more than I wanted my freedom.

I did settle down, then got divorced and now I'm into dolls. I liked it at first, now I love it. I don't know how long it will last, but it's fun. Welcome to the party.

I also just found your post and I thought I'd share my list of benefits/positives that dolls provide: viewtopic.php?f=87&t=149866
1. Sara WM 162E viewtopic.php?f=240&t=148644
2. Ana Marie - Kimber Doll viewtopic.php?f=489&t=149572
3. Yazmin - WM 156F
4. Crystal - inflatable viewtopic.php?t=158662

Benefits of Dolls: viewtopic.php?p=2285542

Just as dolls absorb our body heat, so too do they absorb life from our soul (our desires, memories, love).
With us, they come alive.

Hello Duke. Thank you for sharing your story. I definitely went through some rough patches similar to what you have growing up and in my last relationship. Been a doll owner for 4 years since then, no regrets. Stay strong!
And is she really human?
She's just so something new

Just found your post. Thanks for sharing. I understand. Im going through an abusive marriage. A raging alcoholic just to escape the pain of that bitch. We all have some baggage. I’m done spilling my life blood on controlling women. Your story helps me to think that a doll can be my muse, as a good woman should, to help me be great best I can. As a teacher, I try to make my students the best they can be. As a scientist, everyone wants me dead so I can’t challenge their funding. With all the greedy selfish women out there, I’m thinking a good doll would be a better mistress.

What do you mean as a scientist everyone wants you dead?

This is a fantastic post. As you can see from some of the responses, many of us share your views and perspective about owning dolls. I call them compannequins; mannequins, which are companions, and fulfill a wide range of needs for us - sex and more.

I greatly appreciate how strongly you feel about standing up for others who own dolls, and especially that you do so for yourself. And, your defense of those who prefer or need smaller dolls is admirable. I read this post a few weeks ago, and did not believe that I would have much to contribute to the conversation, other than to thank you for what you have voiced here.

However, you helped me to decide that I should buy a small doll that I have been considering for quite a while. I certainly had considered valid reasons for buying a small doll, and did not need permission or validation from anyone; but, what you shared here did have a positive effect on how I envision having a small compannequin in my home, so I ordered the RLSD 141F I had been thinking to buy. Thank you for posting your thoughts here, and for being a positive influence with what you have shared. You exemplify the great group culture this forum and community can and should be.

Congrats on your purchase. The 141F should be a blast. I have a 140D and a F cup torso, so that's like the 140 but with F cups, which should be awesome!

Yes, I think it's important to advocate for doll owners. I have brought it up to some friends when the opportunity arises and he even said he would consider it but doesn't have a place to put it! I think people scoff at the idea of owning a doll because they have no idea how realistic they are now days. I tell my friends, "You can get a doll that looks like J.Lo in her prime!" and they respond like, "Really?" Then I show them pics and their whole attitude changes.

Again, I never push the topic on people, I just look for the opportunity to interject a little advocacy, like when guys are frustrated at being single and want to get laid or to stop looking at porn.

In regards to small dolls, I think people who might object have no idea how heavy these things are and how someone with a disability or weight lifting issues would need a lighter weight doll. I'm so sick of the stigma surrounding small dolls. It's ridiculous. I frequently go to sites and look for in-stock usa items and most of the dolls are 5 Foot 8 inches! The average size of a woman is 5 foot 4 inches. Why the hell are the in stock usa dolls so tall?! At least give me a doll that's 5 feet. I want more 140 - 157 dolls in stock. and those are in the 50lb to 65lb range. It must really suck for the person that wants something that's 25lb-30lbs like a 100cm!

For me the 140D is perfect. It's big and mature enough to not look too young and it's weight is distributed very evenly so it's easy to lift and manuever, even though it's 50lbs..it doesn't feel like it.

Thank you, and congratulate yourself for being a positive factor in this decision. Your thought process on assessing the size/dimensions of my future companion, based on your gals, is interesting, and gives me another perspective on my future companion's size and proportions; aside from holding up a tape measure to what her height will be like.

Yes, the WM 140D seems to have been a perfect size doll for many people. When I first started looking into dolls other than the Real Doll brand, the first I knew of, the WM 140 was advertised with numerous faces/heads and options, which I interpreted as being an indication of its popularity. Her proportions are likely just right for many people's taste, such as yourself, and her weight would seem to be very manageable, as you have described. There is only a 1 cm difference in height between your 140 and my future 141, but a 20 pound/9kg difference - very significant! As you mentioned, some people need a light-weight doll for any number of reasons, so it is great to see options like this which can meet the needs of most anyone.

You have also spoken a couple of times about the stigma associated with small dolls, and this is truly unfortunate. I know that there is a restriction against posting pictures of very young looking dolls in this forum, which I intend to find the details of; if someone does not prevent me having to do this by responding with an answer here. The reason I want to look into this is that you caused me to think that it would be useful to start a topic focused on petite dolls, and I thought I might call it Les Petites Femmes. When my new compannequin arrives, I could get this started. Her 'birth' is on holiday hold right now, so it would be a few weeks until I do this. Or, I might just do it before she even arrives.

One of our fellow forum members and a great person, Mr. Franz, has a doll named Jyoti, who is a small gal; and, I believe she is likely a similar size to your 140 and my 141. He has posted numerous pictures of her, which has not been an issue, as she is mature in appearance. Other members have posted pictures of their small women, to include both of our doll models. So, my thinking is that if we have a topic for small dolls, we could potentially help others who enjoy petite companions, feel more accepted in this community. So many members here are very decent people, and I do not think for a moment that they would not be accepting of small doll owners. It is most probably the case that people outside this community would be negatively critical of small doll owners. However, I can foresee that when forum members would post positive comments for small dolls in a dedicated topic (not hard to imagine with all the good people in here), this could help small doll owners feel as though their choice is every bit as valid as all the other doll choices. I am interested to hear what you and others think about this.

So, right after submitting my recent post, I found a topic created by DrDemento789 - viewtopic.php?f=87&t=137437 He has a few small dolls, and as I suspected, many forum members have posted some very nice comments on his thread. This really makes me think that a 'small companion' thread could be positive and enjoyable for us; a place where owners of small dolls can share photos and stories about their little ladies.

Yes, the dating scene and relationships are tough. I'm still trying though. I've given up on online dating because it's a total scam and now I'm just straight up approaching women in the real world and asking them out. Since I've gotten my doll though, I really don't care much about "getting laid" with these women as much as becoming good friends with then, which also isn't easy. The reason why I want to be good friends with them is to know who I'm getting into bed with and let me tell you after getting to know some of these women, I feel blessed they are not my girlfriend! Since, I got my doll Aarlyn, she totally fulfills my sexual and intimacy needs and all I really need from women is friendship, which throws them off because they think all men just want to get laid, which in turn attracts them more to me. I mean don't get me wrong, I would enter a sexual relationship with a real women if she desired but many women in my country aren't worth the time and money to even be friends with because they frankly make lousy friends and are selfish or crazy. However, I have been traveling a lot to Latin America lately and I have realized not all women are the same, especially those in little towns from outside the major cities in smaller countries. There are good women out there but it is a challenge to find one in my corrupt society. So yes, as of now my doll makes a way better mistress than many of the real women I encounter because so many are selfish due to the corrupt culture I live in but I haven't given up on approaching real women. I just think that I have been looking in the wrong places, going after the good looking women, rather than the ones with a good heart even though they may just be average looking. And yet, even then it is still a challenge because so many women my age are married or are in a serious relationship. The best thing about having my doll is that my happiness is no longer in the hands of the dating game or a girlfriend, I am satisfied with my doll. I just continue dating for piece of mind, to know that I didn't give up on "real women." I recently had a 1 month fling with a woman from way back in my past, high school days. And she turned out to be a total 2 faced snake. She went from laughing at all my jokes to being all serious and acting like I was a pest in the blink of an eye after making some other dude she was dating her boyfriend despite years of knowing each other. I was totally fine with her dating other guys and had no problem with it because we were supposed to be "friends" but she took a fat dump on our "friendship" and could care less whether I live or die. But I'm not sad at all! I feel blessed because she turned out to be a total alcoholic 35 year old loser with no education who can't even get a job at Starbucks (no joke). All I have to do is look at my doll Aarlyn and I feel like I just dodged a missile!

If someone doesn't want to be in your life, why feel sad?! It's a blessing from the universe/God/whatever!
There's something better in store for you...like your doll!

Wow, it will take me a while to read all this. Just a short note from a dolls perspective. Like Billie said in bad guy, Duh!!!

Like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman, I have so many inches of therapy wrapped around you right now in this bubble bathtub.

I laugh when I watch these videos from human girls trying to convince themselves and their friends, they have nothing to worry about from dolls. Listening to their language and interpretations of emerging dolls in their boyfriends lives just lets you know why they are so afraid and in trouble.

Thank you for sharing your story with me. Being a new doll owner it's a little rough getting past the stigma, guilt, and shame. I can relate to your story on many levels. I'm glad you came across my post and shared your first post with me.

Duke, welcome to TDF and thank you for sharing your story with all of us. There are many things in your post that I can relate to in my own personal life, which also brought me to my own dolls. I have been working to change the stigma surrounding doll owners since 2019 (I had my own blog for two and a half years, plus I have been featured in a few publications regarding the matter) and I feel your story is great! I am truly sorry for all the trauma that you have had to experience and work through in your life, but am glad to hear you say that you are working through it and have worked through some of it and found solace with your dolls.
I love and have loved many dolls.
